    Which excites you more?

I like the quick pick method. It's as though it was meant to be. I don't much care for, nor do I truly understand systems, honestly. As you stated in an earlier thread"Think of it as a dance". I'm still trying to figure out the first step in the dance, and afterward how to apply it to quick  picks without jumping around too much between different dances...uuhhh, I mean games!!!

I get excited from any win, But it's the one that nets $15 mil or more, "That's the One"!!!

My most common play is a QP, I think winning a jackpot would be far, far more exciting than the method you used to pick the numbers to hit the jackpot.

Anyone who would win multi-millions and then kvetch because "the machine picked the numbers and not me" need help!

Also, think about this- someone "in love" with their system walks into a jackpot - good so far - but that makes them so enamored wigth their system that they insist it will work again, but it never does.

"Your heart may be with your system but it's the number of greenbacks the winning ticket brings in that counts"

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I picked choosing my numbers to hit. I would never cash a JP winning ticket if it were a QP. I didn't work hard for 20 years tackling the odds just so I could win with a QP.

        Nope....Not this fella.

I like to win by any means necessary to win be that paper and pencil, someone's else's tip/pick or anyone of the many systems out there. I only buy a few q picks for jackpot games otherwise i pick my own.

I rarely buy qpicks for pick 3 or 4. And have never won pick 3/4 with one.

I don't care how I win. If I bought a qp and it won, I would be just as happy as if I had picked my own numbers.

....Definitely my own methods, even though I am accepting of any legal and honest way the win comes. I know it may sound "waaaay out there" - just bear with me...Winning with my own stuff would be neat, but more importantly an affirmation that what I've glimpsed and interpreted hasn't been a total figment of my imagination;  That in a balanced way, I did really and truly understand some of what the uni-verse was singing, while being able to somewhat translate just a wisp of it into some nuts and bolts facts and figures. That would be cool.

Legend says that The Craggy One was once asked about the Lottery Circle and the aged Lottery LoreKeeper whispered in his gravelly eloquence,"It is known among our kind that 2 successive draws are in reality the 2 center-points of 2 intersecting circles that share a common radius - a Root Center. This Vesica Piscis is the creative womb for all numbers, the Still Point from which two draws will unite & a new one is born. This "perfect" space is a wormhole through Time(Change). Master its proportions & your numerical predictions will not falter".

I would like to win with my own numbers, only because I've bet them for a long time, but that's not what I checked because if I win with any system whatsoever, I'll be happy.  I will be thrilled if I buy a "mistake" that gets printed and I win.  I once purchased a couple of tickets that the clerk ran and someone didn't have enough money to pay for them.  (you've probably seen this happen)   I guess someone asked for 5 QPs and only had $3.  I certainly wouldn't want to win with someone else's tickets who made a mistake, but she said they already left, so I took them off her hands.  So why would I care if I won since I paid for them?

Edit:  Coin Toss.  Pac is right.  Once someone said to me "I don't play the lottery because if I won $10 million I would give it back.  I was taught to work hard for my money."

This poll brings up another good question.  Maybe I'm just nuts (okay, yes I am) but looking at the above scenario where I paid for 2 tickets someone didn't buy, how would you feel if you won in that situation?  What if they were not quickpicks, but someone's personal numbers?  Now we all know that nobody owns numbers, so the Lottery would definitely award me the money, but what if they were the birthdays of his children?  Hmm.  Maybe I won't be so nice next time but still it would be my jackpot if I legally paid for the tickets and took them home & won!

I'm voting "with my own system". I'm tempted to say "anyone's system" but the problem is if you "go with the flow" you're likely to share the prize with many strangers. Wouldn't you rather win it yourself and you decide who else may or may not get a share? The fame after such a win would be amazing and you could make even more $ selling your system as a proven winner or being everyone's hero by sharing it for free.

There is also the timing aspect... termials have RNGs that may be based on vibrating quartz crystals such that a microsecond difference in timing determines a winner or loser being sold at the instant the button is pressed. Had the person stopped at the Bank to get the few extra dollars their timing would be different enough to alter the outcome. Usually someone will get extra or error tickets refunded right there but on jackpot games they can't. I'd not want to play someone else's personal numbers.
