Predictive Software.. I need one that makes functional narrativesPrev TopicNext Topic

Hi,
quite a while ago i developed some basic code that would give me the missing structures of all states, i'd then started betting and hope i would hit.
I mean, what is missing must come in at some time, right?There are many parts to skips.
A game has a structure (frame or mechanics) there being 3 straight positions of 10 digits per each, we deal with 3 main levels: 1 position, 2 positions and 3 positions and their compound inter-relations.
There can be a skip of 1 draw, which software puts down as 0 skip or as 1 skip.
Or there can be a skip of infinite, that is the pattern structure just never comes back again.
Those are of course the extremes.
Which of them is the most likely one of them to happen and or of to happen the most often of the two of them?
The skip of 1 draw of course.
Then there is the middle ground of the skips in more than one way:
First a point in the middle from 1 skip to the highest recorded skip (For the particular lenght of past draws that are scanned at that time) for that pattern-structure.
Second perhaps the middle skips from the most common approximated lowest skips zone to the most common approximated highest skips zone from a particular lenght of past draws.
Third the approximated skips zone or area where most of the skips are or happen, that is the approximated highest density skips zone from a particular lenght of past draws.
Now what we have definitions of the middle skips, I will say that it is best to use the Second and Third definitions from above in order to find the Middle skips.
Next, Is it better to play the first half of the skips from Lowest to Middle or Is it better to play the second half from Middle skips to Highest?
My very brief study of skips has shown me that it appears as if it is better to "Play" the first skips' half from Lowest Skips to Middle Skips as that lenght is shorter in draws.
Well, most of it did come in, but it just took way too long, sometimes my bankroll just wasn't big enough and that was the end of a winning street (and it was quite a street LOL!!!)
There appears to be other things about skips, but right now I can't remember much of that.
It is easier to find what is missing then to find what is hot.
Hot can be found, ofcourse, but i always had that "overdue must come in sooner or later" in the back of my head.It is also easier to find what won't come soon than what will.
So why not combine them? Due and hot.
And that's exactly what i've implemented into the new version.
But like Lantern said, almost everyone has a different way of zooming in on the game, and a different approach.
You can simply not create software that first reads one's mind and then magically throws the required data on the screen.
Lots of people think that way, and well, they are dead wrong!
Other people have a natural reflex of putting down any software that comes out and, most important, which is not available for free.
Well, i have news for those persons: there is no such thing as software that will each time spit out the winning numbers for the next draw.
Surely, no one would wanna buy such software! Imagine 1000 people buy such, and all play the euromillions, and they will all hit. Where's the profit in the end for those people?It is not a good idea to sell software or give it away for free that will win too often or all of the time with automatic predictions as we won't benefit by having everybody win with it.
The software i've developed i have developed it in the first place to be a tool that will perform calculations a millions times faster than a person can calculate them themselves.
Some people want stats on straight pairs, others want digits, others want stats on skips and even others want stats on skips on skips!The skips are very good "Keys" to prediction.
You can cut down the game into a zillion pieces, retrieve statistics and then decide where you wanna go.
The problem for most is that it takes a heck of a long time to calculate stats with pen and paper (try it, for all 300 straight positional pairs! Then, instead of doing it for one state, do it nationwide!!! You'll end up nuts and you wont be doing much else for the rest of the day! And then you'll only have the straight positional pairs!!! Go figure
I provide this info in a split second, that's the only thing to it)Many things are just not possible to do at all without software.
Each and everyone of us has its own strategy, and that is where my program comes in. There is so much data available that there is a road for pretty much everyone in it. But, it helps if you have your own strategy.
I don't know of any program(s) that gives as many statistics as yours does.
Microsoft Word is very powerfull, but does even one person on the planet really expects that Word will spit out the perfect application letter just by starting up Word????
And, for those who like to put down any new software, does anyone blame Microsoft for that???
You know, the "tube-map of London" is a very interesting example.
But you have to look at it from a different angle. It is created to give indications.
It was not created to tell you where you need to go!!! There's a major difference here!
It helps you to get to the point where you want to go!
cheers
Ricky
lasas3It is best if people develop their own prediction methods or techniques.
I will say that you are almost giving away your programs for free (and very many of them you are), that kind of software is really worth a lot of money.
----------
-------
I forgot to add that there can be several or even many Hot Density Skips Zones on a long section of past draws.
-
I forgot something else:
On a lenght of past draws there are a given number of skips for a particular filter-structure, the middle skips point can also be the point after which 50% of the skips have already happened for that particular lenght of past draws for that particular filter-structure.
The things as stated before is to play the first half and not the last half, if it is the shorter half on past draws.
Play whichever is the shorter half on past draws.
---------
You should also know that there can be on a long lenght of past draws several or even many Hot Density Skips Zones or Spots for particular Filter-Structures along the lenght of it.

I'm not a physicist or mathematician, but I do have a healthy collection of various commercially-available lottery systems.
From what I can tell from the conversation so far, most of what you're looking for is contained in Gail Howard's Advantage Plus system. I ordered this software (along with her Wheel Five Plus system) a few weeks ago for use in the PowerBall game, and I was truly surprised at how comprehensive it is.
All of the tracking data and filters you guys have been discussing are included.
Here are some examples (from the Advantage Plus menu)
(The following terms and titles are trademarked or copyrighted by Gail Howard):
Quick Stats (lots of information here);
Drawings Since Hit Chart;
Multiple Hit Pattern Chart;
Skip and Hit Charts;
Companion Number Charts (tells you which numbers historically hit together);
Companion Pairs, etc.;
Neighboring Pairs, etc.;
Games Out History;
Adjacent Numbers;
Trailing Numbers (awesome - tells you which number tends to follow another number);
Ten Game Group Count (fully adjustable for larger or smaller groups);
Sum Tracking Chart;
Last Digit Analysis (11, 21, 31 or 25, 35, 45, etc.);
High/ Low Bias Tracker;
Odd/ Even Bias Tracker;
Cluster Hit Chart;
Cluster Skip Chart;
Gap Distribution;
History View Filters;
Lotto Advantage Scoreboard (rates every number in the entire field);
Number Group Test Drive (very cool - allows you to check your selections against past draws);
Ball Set Rotation (lets you know when they change ball sets for certain games (not PB or MM));
Lotto Astro Scope (shows which numbers tend to hit more often during certain months of the year);
Smart Picks (predictive software - tells you which numbers are most likely to be drawn next),
and more ...
All of the filters are fully adjustable, and you can look as far back as you'd care to go, clear back to the very first drawing of your chosen game, in any state, province or country. It comes loaded with the complete, up-to-date data for EVERY LOTTERY GAME IN THE WORLD, including Keno, so tracking your favorite game is very easy.
It's not perfect, by any means, but I think it would give you guys a good place to start. Smart Picks can be set to predict the most likely numbers to be drawn in accordance with the game's historical patterns, and the charts and data are all integrated (they use the same history to examine and analyze patterns and anomalies for a different output - Odd/ Even Bias vs. High/ Low Bias, for example, or High/ Low Skips vs. Hot/ Cold Hits). You can examine as many or as few aspects of your chosen game as you wish. You can mix and match various charts, exclude certain data, adjust the bias or weight you want to give to your favorite charts and you can exclude up to half of the numbers in your game's field. Conversely, you can force certain numbers to be included for consideration, and then observe the statistical changes. I've found this to be a very valuable tool when I have three or four numbers selected, but I'm looking for the fourth or fifth number to play in the next drawing.
Gail Howard's Smart Picks can usually predict at least two numbers correctly, and it had three right in last Wednesday's drawing (I didn't win anything, though, because I didn't think 34 would repeat; I played 33 instead).
Advantage Plus is a DOS-based system (it runs fine on XP), so it shouldn't be too difficult to access the source code. Who knows? Between the three of you, you might be able to improve it. I think I paid $107.00 for the package (there's a significant discount when you order a wheeling system with Advantage Plus). I haven't won the jackpot yet, but I've gotten my money's worth just playing around with it for three weeks. I bought it because I wanted some comprehensive software to compliment my pencil-and-paper systems and, so far, even though I haven't won a major prize, I'm still very impressed with it. Each function has its own text file which tells you how it works and how to use it. It also has an audio tutorial for those who don't like to read.
If I've missed the point here, I apologize for butting in, but this system has the functional narratives you're describing. If nothing else, it could give you some more ideas (not that you need any help in that department; from reading this thread, it seems to me that you have an ample supply). I just thought it might save you some work if you could look at what's already out there.
Come, Pinky; we must prepare for tomorrow night...

jim695, that sounds like a good menu of statistics. Think I will consider buying that software.
I'm currently working on a large spreadsheet to use for finding numbers to play. I've only tested it for real the last three weeks and I've won 1x3, 2x3 and 1x3 numbers (3 numbers = last prize = $8 - $9.50), playing 20 lines on Viking Lotto. Not much, but it's definetly an improvement over quick picks. The statistics on my spreadsheet doesn't cover a tenth of what Advantage Plus covers.
I pick the numbers myself from statistics, so it's not something revolutionary. Still working on improving it.

Yes, that's how I use it, too. As I mentioned, I use Advantage Plus to compliment my pencil-and-paper systems. I prefer the old-fashioned method of tracking numbers because I believe it gives me a better "feel" for the game.
I choose my numbers from my manual charts, and then compare my selections against those tagged by Gail Howard's program. Unfortunately, she's right more often than I am, but I haven't yet reached the point where I'm ready to abandon my paper charts, colored pencils and markers.
Ms. Howard makes it very clear in her manual that her predictive software lacks human intuition, and she encourages users of her products to spend time studying their chosen games in order to develop that insight. When a given number is tagged on several Advantage Plus charts, it becomes a "Smart Pick," so if a number has been out for thirty drawings, for example, but it hit seven times in the previous ten drawings, then that number will appear as a Smart Pick, even though it might not be a good choice for the upcoming drawing.
I didn't explain that very well, but the point is that Gail Howard's Advantage Plus system uses hard statistics to predict the upcoming numbers. When certain charts conflict, however, the predicted numbers might encompass half of the entire field. When this happens (which isn't often), you have to dig a little deeper and compare each chart to some or all of the others (your preference) in order to eliminate some of the choices presented.
I've had a lot of fun just playing around, experimenting and learning how to use it. I have my favorite charts and some that I don't use that much, but it's nice to have the option of checking my numbers against all those stats. It really has helped me to narrow the field of numbers I play, and I've saved a few bucks by not playing certain numbers that I would have played otherwise. At the same time, I don't always trust the Smart Picks, so I haven't made as much as I might have if I had just played the numbers recommended by Advantage Plus.
I play PowerBall, and I can turn off the bonus number in Advantage Plus and just look at the white field. This turns it into a Pick-5 game, and I can group my numbers by position, zone or first two, mid number and last two. Or, I can leave it on and see whether the red number should appear in the white field in the next drawing. Or, I can exclude the white field and try to determine what the next red ball is likely to be. This feature alone makes the program versatile enough to be of some value to anyone who spends ten dollars a draw playing PowerBall or MegaMillions.
I wholeheartedly agree that your selection method is a dramatic improvement over quick-picks. Several years ago I decided to try an experiment. I had been buying five quick-picks with my regular numbers (the ones I've been playing for years) for a few weeks, and I noticed that I could never hit more than two numbers on the QP's. I thought I could choose random numbers as well as or better than the machine could, so I took my Sharpie out of my pocket, closed my eyes and dotted my bet slip twenty-five times (in the white field). Naturally, some dots didn't hit a number, so I played the number closest to those dots by filling out a clean bet slip (using the first as a reference). Once I had those numbers, I kept the bet slip. I didn't hit anything for the first four drawings (so I was doing as well as the machine), but in the first drawing of the third week, I hit three numbers with a 5 multiplier. The very next drawing gave me two numbers with the PowerBall (the multiplier was 3 that time), so I ended up about even for the six drawings (at least on the quick-picks). I don't play quick-picks anymore, because my luck is generally very bad, and one must be very lucky to win something significant with a quick-pick.
Anyway, good luck with your endeavors and, if you buy Advantage Plus, let me know what you think. I'd like to hear any ideas or methods you might extract from it. I figure it'll be another month or two before I can use it effectively. There's so much information to analyze, and since I'm an engineer, I can spend hours poking around in there (and I do) without getting bored.
