I was hoping some of you mathemeticians can help me on this one.
I'm trying to figure out the odds of Mega Millions if I omit the "bad" sequences. I mean numbers such as
2,3,4,5,6,...... 18,19,20,21,22, 31,32,33,34,35.....
I know that there are chances that these number CAN happen but the odds are pretty slim. Is there some way I can figure this out in Excel?, I don't know maybe a formula to remove them or such? Im not the greatest in math, and i can forget coding stuff. But if I can remove them as well as the combinations of bonuses that can be ommitted( 1,2,3,4,5, bonus 6) then maybe I can see what the "real" odds are?
Thanks in advance.
