I hope people recall I said to stick with 904 as a sum 13 combo. Unfortunately I chose to go with 911 for my load up play for the night but at least I did have it for $2 straight and 50 cents combo for a $1250 payoff - not bad for a little analysis a couple of months ago.
Now for the question that we numbers players always dread: How much did I spend during the last two months? I said to play it in the evenings and I almost never played it in mid-day and I usually played it the way I hit it last night costing me $5/day. So 2 months x $5 = roughly $300 - on this one number. Well, if you think about it, that does seem like a lot of money for one number and then on several occasions I played it $20 straight so toss in a bill for that .... well, anyway at least I doubled my money and beat the 1000-1 odds.
Back to strategy: I simply identified which sum combo had been out the longest year-to-date overall. Then I began tracking in March as the sum 13s began to appear after their hibernation during January and February of this year. I simply crossed off all the sum 13s as they came out and looked at some long out pairs like the 90X.
As if that wasn't enough, I then had to have an extreme amount of patience. How many of us including my self have given up on a number we new was coming?
Moral of the story: the game can be beat.
However, money management is key if we want to be able to stay alive. That's definitely something many of us including myself need to improve.
I'd also like to see us identify the strategies we used to come up with our winners so that our numbers community can all benefit.
