    Yep,

If a long drive could have saved that much in gas too maybe.

Plus you get maid service at hotel/motel.

Your first mistake was EXPECTING to win anything.

TN Lottery may be a rip-off, but NOT because you drew no winners.

It's sad to not win anything when you spend that much money, but that's how it goes sometimes.

When the ticket has overall odds of 1 in 5 to win something, it doesn't mean every fifth ticket is a winner and it's sad that people don't understand the odds against them. If a scratch-off game pays out 65% and has a $500,000 jackpot, about $770,000 must be wagered and lost just to payoff that one ticket.

They can call it a rip-off because they won nothing or buy another $110 worth of tickets and get ripped-off again.

As I was reading your post I felt sympathy and "yeah I understand how you feel" but some of the replies IMHO were a little hard on what I think was just you venting after losing some much in so little time. That's okay, you will make that lose up in the future if it's meant to be. GOOD LUCK! NO REGRETS! JUST MOVE FORWARD!

When gambling (casino, lottery etc.) never spend more than you can afford to lose PERIOD!

Gambling is a form of fun entertainment for adults! Remember that and you'll never be disappointed again when you don't win!

Keep dreaming the impossible dream, it just may come true! Thumbs Up

Before You Gamble: Know the Odds!

Gambling should always be viewed as entertainment and a way to have fun not as a way to win or make money. When you gamble you can hope to win, but the odds always favour the house. In essence you are paying to play the games. In most circumstances, and for most people, the more you play, the more you will lose.

So before you gamble, you should know the odds of winning and losing so you can set limits for yourself on the amount you are prepared to bet.

Its very common to see and hear stories about winners and its fun to dream of the big win. Of course it is statistically possible to win but its important to realize the vast majority of people will lose more than they win when they gamble. If you accept this basic reality, then gambling can remain a form of entertainment and a fun thing to do occasionally.

A mind once stretched by a new idea never returns to its original dimensions!
