Thoth,

Very kind of you to post these, thank you. Chaz, you will find these more to your liking. For those who are following this thread and don't understand the charts. Look at the 5-digit chart, when you have a string @ 34 skips, you have a 99% Degree of Certainty.

Very good Steve thank you. What would it take for you to show the Max skip for those or is the # the Max? That Va Mid string is still going. On-line players, jump on it!!!

Off topic, but how much did you bet on 023 Tuesday?

HA! Thats a sore subject!!! Get this....I DIDNT EVEN PLAY IT!

I've spent soooo much time playing and tracking it for like 3 years and missed it. I played it that morning and the night before, but not that particular night....Im still kicking myself for that one.  I bet I've spent close to $3000 playing it too...so much for winning my $$$ back. Ah well - u can't win if u don't play I guess.

I had to slow way down on playing....money is tighter with the new baby and all. I have a feeling 023 will be back soon though. Theres a 50% chance that it will return within the next 693 games LOL. If each span of 693 games is a 50% chance, then heres what its median activity looks like:

      L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L W

Im gonna say the next span is going to be a W - hope i play it on the right day.

AG, I  haven't did any backtesting on that stat, maybe WinD or someone else has. But, I know any combo has a 50% chance of repeating within 5 draws. Look at the WC draws and see how many times that hat happen.

There should be equal probability of doubles and no-match for the 5 dig strings.....

Though there are 20 boxed doubles and only 10 boxed no-match, you have to look at them straight to get the full scoop.

The 20 doubles each play 3 ways....for a total of 60 straights.  The 10 no-moatch each play 6 ways...for a total of 60 also. Then there are 5 triples to play also.

                  Carbob,

These are the max for each state.  But you will have state with multiple max skips.  I guess skips would not be a good word.  More like ongoing number of draws for one or more strings.

In the Excel file(s) you can check 1 state if you like.  You would need to click the Toolbar in the 5 or 6 digit tab to look at all the strings.

                  Hope this helps!!

This is a very interesting point. I looked at the Texas data and you are right.

If you are using only the 5 digits in the set, the probability is in the 50/50. In fact, some of the five digit sets produce more doubles than singles under that condition.

Be mindful that when we requisite only one digit of the string appearing to keep the string alive, we've changed that rule.
