Gap Strategy - Review, Part 3Using the variations in several interrelated data streams to aid the generation of numbers to play are the primary features in Gap Strategy.
The lottery number and gap streams have already been reviewed.
Two additional streams are called Position Identifier (PID) and Alpha Identifier (AID). These have two components - fixed and in order of occurrence, which is also known as Hot.
Fixed Position Identifier (FPID): The Fixed PID configurations are balanced and are based on the number of Lottery numbers/Gaps/Cells in the data stream being processed.
"A" 9 numbers/gaps w/9 cells: FPID = First 3, Middle 3, Last 3. (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)
"B" 10 numbers/gaps w/10 cells: FPID = F5 L5, First 5, Last 5. (F1F2F3F4F5L1L2L3L4L5)
"C" 10 numbers/gaps w/10 cells: FPID = F5 L5.
"C" 6 numbers/gaps w/6 cells: FPID = First 3, Last 3. (F1F2F3L1L2L3)
"D" 10 numbers/gaps w/10 cells: FPID = F5 L5.
"D" 6 numbers/gaps w/6 cells: FPID = F3 L3
"D" 8 numbers/gaps w/8 cells: FPID = First 4, Last 4 (F1F2F3F4L1L2L3L4)
"E" 10 numbers/gaps w/10 cells: FPID = F5 L5
"F" 10 numbers/gaps w/10 cells: FPID = F5 L5
"F" 7 numbers/gaps w/7 cells: FPID - First 3, Last 4 (F1F2F3L1L2L3L4)
"F" 6 numbers/gaps w/6 cells: FPID - F3 L3Pick 3 and Pick 4:
"A" 10 numbers/gaps w/10 cells: FPID F5 L5 (Number stream begins with 0).There may be others, but, the point is that every lottery game has fixed number of digits, and Gap Strategy has a corresponding Fixed PID.
HOT (InOrderOfOccurrence) PIDS:
The HPIDS are the result of intereaction between the FPID and Gap streams. In other words, depending on its position,
a gap number produces a corresponding FPID according to its position in the fixed-length stream. This is best demonstrated by an example.Active cells are cells that have not been crossed off.
Example: "A" numbers.
Fixed PID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)
Gap #s: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Hot PID: F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3Next Gap number: 4
Using the Fixed HPD configuration as a guide, count, right to left, the active cells between the 9 and the 4 in the Gap stream.
Use a silent backwards count - L3, L2, L1, M1, M2, etc, starting with 9 until the 4 is reached. In this instance, the Hot PID for G#4 is 'M1'
Cross out the existing G#4 and add 4 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the original 'M1' in the Hot PID stream and add 'M1' to the end of the stream.
Add 'M1' to the Fixed PID stream.Important: Because the Gap number and HPID streams will eventually become cluttered with active and inactive cells, the best way
to determine the HPID is to use a 'mental, or silent, backwards count. The count begins, right to left, 3(L3), 2(L2) 1(L1), 3(M3), 2(M2), etc, until the
appropriate Gap number is reached.
Note: If the FPID has 10 cells, as it does for the 'B' numbers, the count would begin with 5(L5), 4(L4), 3(L3) etc.Updated streams:
Fixed PID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1
Gap #s 1 2 3 X 5 6 7 8 9 4
Hot PID: F1F2F3XM2M3L1L2L3M1Note: the 'M1' in the Fixed PID configuration set is NOT crossed off. More on this later.
Next Gap number: 2
Using the FPID configuration as a guide, count, right to left, the active cells between the 4 and the 2 in the Gap stream. Using the silent backward count, the HPID for G#2 is 'F2'
Cross out the existing G#2 and add 2 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'F2' in the updated HPID stream and add 'F2' to the end of the stream.
Add 'F2' to the FPID stream.Updated streams.
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2
Gap #s 1 X 3 x 5 6 7 8 9 4 2
Hot PID: F1XF3XM2M3L1L2L3M1F2
Next Gap number: 6
Using the FPID configuration as a guide, count the active cells between 2 and 6. Using the silent backward count technique,
the HPID for G#6 is 'M1'
Cross out the existing G#6 and add 6 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'M1" in the updated HPID stream and add 'M1" at the end of the stream.
Add 'M1' to the FPID stream.Updated streams.
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1
Gap #s: 1 X 3 X 5 X 7 8 9 4 2 6
Hot PID: F1XF3XM2M3L1L2L3XF2M1Updated streams.
Next Gap number: 7
Using the FPID configuration as a guide, count the active cells between 6 and 7. Counting backwards from L3.L2.L1.M3.M2.M1, the
HPID for G#7 is 'M1'
Cross out the existing G#7 and add 7 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'M1' in the updated HPID stream and add 'M1' at the end of the stream.
Add 'M1' to the FPID stream.Updated streams:
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1M1
Gap #s: 1 X 3 X 5 X 8 9 4 2 6 7
Hot PID: F1XF3XM2M3L1L2L3XF2XM1Next Gap number: 5
Counting active gap cells (mentally, right to left beginning with L3.L2.L1.M3.M2.M1.F3), the HPID for G#5 is 'F3'
Cross out the existing G#5 and add 5 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'F3' in the updated HPID stream and add 'F3' at the end of the stream.
Add 'F3' to the FPID stream.Updated streams:
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1M1F3
Gap #s: 1 X 3 X X 8 9 4 2 6 7 5

Cross out the existing G#9 and add 9 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'M1' in the updated HPID stream and add 'M1' at the end of the stream.
Add 'M1' to the FPID stream.Updated streams:
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1M1F3M1F2
Gap #s: 1 X 3 X X X 8 X 4 2 6 7 5 9
Hot PID: F1XXXM2M3L1L2L3XF2XXF3M1
Next Gap number: 3
Counting active gap cells, (mentally, right to left, beginning with 3.2.1.3.2.1.3.2), the HPID G#3 is 'F2'
Cross out the existing G#3 and add 3 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'F2' in the updated stream and add 'F2' at the end of stream.
Add 'F2' to the FPID stream.Updated streams:
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1M1F3M1F2
Gap #s: 1 X X X X X 8 X 4 2 6 7 5 9 3
Hot PID: F1XXXM2M3L1L2L3XXXXF3M1F2Next Gap Number: 1
Counting active cells, (mentally, right to left, beginning with 3.2.1.3.2.1.3.2.1, the HPID for G#1 is 'F1'
Cross out the existing G#1 and add 1 to the end of the G# stream.
Cross out the 'F1' in the updated stream and add 'F2' at the end of the stream.
Add 'F1' to the FPID stream.Updated streams.
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1M1F3M1F2F1
Gap #s: X X X X X X 8 X 4 2 6 7 5 9 3 1
Hot PID: XXXXM2M3L1L2L3XXXXF3M1F2F1Next Gap Number: 8
Counting active cells as previously described, the HPID for G#8 is 'F1'
Cross out the existing G#8 and add 8 at the end of the stream.
Cross out the 'F1' in the updated stream and add 'F1' at the end of the stream.
Add 'F1' to the FPID stream.Updated stream.
FPID: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)M1F2M1M1F3M1F2F1
Gap #s: X X X X X X X X 4 2 6 7 5 9 3 1 8
Hot PID: XXXXM2M3L1L2L3XXXXF3M1F2F1It's always good to double check to ensure that there are no repeats in the gap and HPID streams.
If there are, then a mistake has been made.Finding and correcting mistakes is not easy - so, be accurate!
As can be seen from these examples, the Gap numbers and corresponding Hot PIDs are not fixed. That is,
FPID 'M1' has come up 4 times with 4 different G#s.The overall results of this activity is the generation of a separate Hot PID stream, which will become longer
as more gap numbers are processed. An important point to remember is that there is a fixed, unchanging, PID configuration for the nine "A" numbers in any lottery game.
Because of the clutter in the gap streams, using a mental count is a superior method to locate and determine the HPID for any Gap number.
The counting is always right to left, which is the same as counting up a column.
ALPHA IDENTIFIER (AID): The Alpha Identifier is the means by which the Before and AFter Triples are produced.
The AID has two components - Fixed and InOrderOfOccurrence (HOT).The Fixed AID configurations are:
5 numbers/gaps = 1A2A - 3B4B - 5C
6 numbers/gaps = 1A2A - 3B4B - 5C6C
7 numbers/gaps = 1A2A - 3B4B - 5C6C - 7R
8 numbers/gaps = 1A2A - 3B4B5B - 6C7C8C
9 numbers/gaps = 1A2A3A - 4B5B6B - 7C8C9C
10 numbers/gaps = 1A2A3A - 4B5B6B - 7C8C9C - 10RThe AID configuration must match the PID configuration.
For example, If a 9 number gap stream is being processed, the Fixed PID is F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3, and the Fixed AID is 1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C.
Similarly to the Hot PID stream, the HOT AID stream is continuous.
The specific AIDs are the number of spaces between active cells in the Hot PID stream.
Remember, an active cell is a cell that has not been crossed off.
This is best demonstrated by example.
Fixed PID stream: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3)
Gap # stream: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Fixed AID stream: (1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C)HOt PID stream: F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3
Note: This is a paper and pencil workout using graph paper. The HPID stream should be placed several graph paper rows below the FAID stream.
Next Gap # is a 5
Using the procedures already demonstrated above, the HPID for G#5 is 'M2'
Add 'M2' to the Fixed PID stream.
Add 'M2' to the end of the Hot PID stream. Count the active cells, right to left, to the 'M2' already in the stream.
There are 5 active cells, therefore, in this instance, the Hot AID for G#5 is '5B'.
Add '5B' to the Fixed AID stream.
Cross out the original 'M2' in the Hot PID stream and add 'M2' to the end of the stream.
Cross out the 5 in the G# stream and add 5 to end of the stream.Updated streams: (This lines up better if copied to graph paper)
Fixed PID stream: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3) M2
Gap # stream: 1 2 3 4 X 6 7 8 9 5
Fixed AID stream: (1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C) 5BHot PID stream: F1F2F3M1XM3L1L2L3M2
Important1: The original 'M2' in the Fixed PID is NOT crossed off. This will become a History stream and can be used
to aid a restart, if one becomes necessary due to errors. It is also useful in maintaining an PID inventory (to be reviewed later).Important2: The Alpha Identifier configuration for this PID configuration is at the beginning of what will become the Hot AID stream
as new data is added. The Fixed PID entries are NOT marked off.
In this example, the Hot AID stream begins with 5B. These entries are used to produce the Before and After triples and are NOT
crossed off.Next Gap# is a 2.
Using the counting procedures already demonstrated, the HPID for G#1 is 'F2'Add 'F2' to the FPID stream.
Add 'F2' to the HPID stream. Count the active cells, right to left, to the F2 already in the HPID stream.
There are 8 active cells, therefore, the Hot AID is '8C'
Add the '8C' to the FAID stream.
Cross out the original 'F2' in the HPID stream and add 'F2' to the end of the stream.
Cross out the 2 in the G# stream and add 2 to the end of the stream.Updated streams:
Fixed PID stream: F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3 M2F2
Gap # stream: 1 X 3 4 X 6 7 8 9 5 2
Fixed AID stream: 1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C 5B8CHOt PID stream: F1XF3M1XM3L1L2L3M2F2
Next Gap# is a 7.
Using the silent counting technique previous described, the Hot PID for G#7 is 'M2'Add 'M2' to the FPID stream.
Add 'M2' to the HPID stream. Count the active cells, right to left, to the M2 already in the stream.
There are 2 active cells, therefore, the Hot AID is 2A,
Add '2A' to the FAID stream.
Cross out the 'F2' already in the HPID stream and add 'F2' to the end of the stream.
Cross out the 7 in the G# stream and add 7 to the end of the stream. In actual practice using a graph paper worksheet, the Hot AID is entered on two lines, with Letter part in the top line,
as demonstrated below.Updated streams:
Fixed PID stream: (F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3) M2F2M2
Gap # stream: X 3 4 X 6 X 8 9 5 2 7
Hot AID stream: (1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C) B C A
5 8 2HOt PID stream: F1XF3M1XM3XL1L2L3XF2M2
Next Gap# 4.
Using the silent counting technique previous described, the Hot PID for G#4 is 'F3'.Add 'F3' to the FPID stream.
Add 'F3' to the HPID stream. Count the active cells, right to left, to the 'F3' already in the stream.
There are 8 active cells, therefore, the Hot AID is 8C.
Add the 8C to the FAID stream.
Cross out the original 'F3' in the HPID stream and add F3 to the end of the stream.
Cross out the 4 in the G# stream and add 4 to the end of the stream.Updated streams:
Fixed PID stream: F1F2F3M1M2M3L1L2L3 M2F2L1F3
Gap # stream: 1 X 3 X X 6 X 8 9 5 2 7 4
Hot AID stream: 1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C B C A C
5 8 2 8
HOt PID stream: F1XXM1XM3XL2L3M2F2L1F3This PID and AID procedure is continued until all of the Gap numbers have been processed.
It goes without saying that starting a Gap Strategy worksheet is a time consuming task, but, you only have to
do it once. When all the gap numbers are processed, it only takes a few minutes to update the streams after each drawing.
The mental count technique is very useful and speeds the processing. It becomes second nature as more experienced is gained.
Some potential users of Gap Strategy have said they have difficulty with the process of generating the streams.
These examples ought to be enough. If not, I don't know what else to say.I've double checked and I think everything here is correct. However, I usually make a mistake or two and there could
be one or more in this post.
If you have questions, please respond. Thanks for your interest.

OK, I'm willing to have faith in you.
Show us how you arrived at the digits to play, or the digits this system provided for you in a few recent daily games. How many digits are used for your plays ?
And the winning numbers to prove it works.
There must be somebody else besides me, interested in what you have presented here.
