I just finished installing a series of changes that are aimed at improving performance with some web browsers that were seeming to have an issue. There are a number of little changes here and there as well.

Please let me know if you are experiencing any differences in performance of the site -- plus or minus -- from what you were seeing previously this week.

I don't know about anyone else, but personally it seems faster to me. The biggest difference I was able to truly see is in the loading time for the prediction board. It seemed a lot faster. Thanks as always Todd!

hey now Todd,

pages load faster for me also. currently um on my XP and unable to use fire-fox, when i try logging in on fire-fox, it loads but still sho's me as a guess. now hopefully 2nite or on the morrow i can get on my visita and try my firefox there, other than that NO PROBLEMS! thank u for all that u do!

My pages are loading faster, I'm running Windows XP, and using Internet Explorer 7.0. Thanks for all that you do.

I've noticed a slight speed boost compared to this morning (before the maintenance period). Thanks a bunch!

(BTW, if you need it for info purposes Todd........I'm using Firefox 3.0.3 and Windows XP Home Edition with latest (as in a couple of days ago) updates from Windows Update.)

(Now that I think about it.......I think Firefox has released 3.0.4 -- looks like I need to switch to my administrator account on this computer and update Firefox after I post this. )

OK, great, thanks for the feedback. I also appreciate the notes on your browser/OS setups. Those using Firefox, three cheers to you, because you're experiencing the site much faster than IE users. As I'm sure you have found out, Firefox speeds up ALL web sites, but especially complex ones like Lottery Post.

Also, if you're ever in the mood to try a different browser and you want something FAST, you gotta try Google Chrome. It has -- by far -- the fastest JavaScript engine of any web browser, and renders the pages incredibly fast.

Anyone who uses IE exclusively would be SHOCKED to see how much faster they could view Lottery Post simply by using Google Chrome (or Firefox 3.0) -- with no other changes to their computer. I know that Duck had that reaction when she tried it. (Duck, try clearing the cookies in Firefox to clear up that login issue. Don't forget, if you use more than one PC, if you Log Off on one of them, the other one will be logged off too.)
