Hey everyone,

I'm new here but not new to forums or the internet by any means.

Not to mention I am a former casino pit boss and have dealt million dollar private games that would make your hands fall off from the tension.

OK, here's my question and the purpose for my first post. Since the lotto is the worst possible odds you could ever play no matter which game you play or which system you use, does anyone have an iron clad reason why you still play?

I play, but I certainly don't buy tickets over the counter, as I suspect very few of the other members here do either.

What I would like to know is are your results as good as mine? Better?

I'm just throwing out some thoughts here. Talk to me. You know what I mean.

I'm Zacman,

And I approve this message. LOL

Hello and welcome to the LP,Zacman!

I am interested in your quote about "buying tickets over the counter" and that you suspect "few other members do either". What exactly do you mean by that? I always buy my tickets over the counter. Are you talking about online play?

      Welcome Zacman, do mean psychic?

      because physic means:

1.a medicine that purges; cathartic; laxative.

2.any medicine; a drug or medicament.

3.Archaic. the medical art or profession.

      4.Obsolete. natural science.

      –verb (used with object)

5.to treat with or act upon as a physic or medicine.

6.to work upon as a medicine does; relieve or cure.

      from wiki wiki.

We gotta couple ex pit bosses here they are very pithy for the most part.

Welcome Zacman! Most players here play over the counter not online. If you are psychic then that's great! What have been your experience with your psychic powers?

              Welcome Zacman.

I'm a former casino worker, too.

Why play lotto? If you win, a jackpot may change your life. If you lose, the couple of bucks spent on lotto isn't going to bankrupt you (this assumes one is not a degenrate lottrry player, chasing lost dollars in an endavor with astronomical odds).

When I worked in Vegas I used to go to Nipton, CA (this was beore Primm started selling Cal lotto tickets the day it opened) and fellow casino workers, who blew toke envelope after toke envelope and paycheck after paycheck playing video pokler ("electronic morphine") would ask me why bother.

I saw quite a few of them hit royals. I never saw one of them quit working or change their life having hit any.

As they say, there are two kinds of people in the business, the ones who don't play and the ones who are broke all the time.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

              Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Hello Zacman welcome to Lottery Post! I would also like to know what you mean by "buying tickets over the counter." I'm not following you on that.

What he means is that he tracks and follows the lottery, checks his number results, but doesn't actually buy tickets, (over the counter).

I think your question was correct. He didn't make himself clear. I thought the same thing as evident from my comment.

Zacman is definitely a magician!  He has a disappearing act!  He is there one moment, so very cool and confident, and BAM, gone, vanished into thin air leaving in his wake only questions and disagreements on etiquette.  WOW!!!!!!!!!! Very impressive.
