Can you explain where you heard about this program, and what you know about it?

Saying "What have you heard about ____"? is a common way that people selling software try to get others to talk about their product.

It's like me registering on another web site and asking "What do you think about Lottery Post?" as if I had no idea what Lottery Post was.

If you're asking this question innocently, please take the time to describe why you are asking, and what you personally know about it, and state whether or not you have an interest in the product before asking the question.

Also, you did not mention if you used the Search page yet.

Here is a link to the search engine page:

      http://www.lotterypost.com/search?q=Advanced+Lotto+Tool+2+0&t=all

You will see a posting concerning the subject matter.

I went to Resources located at the top of the page inside of the blue bar, then clicked on search for something, selected all history & all forums & input the terms Advanced Lotto Tool 2.0. Todd has a great search engine. It's that easy.

Hey Laverne, thanks for posting that.

Here's another couple of tips for the search engine:

        • Try to eliminate unnecessary characters and words -- in this case eliminate the "2.0" from the search query, because some people won't mention the version number when speaking about it, and then the search may not find their post.
        • When dealing with a specific product or phrase, put quotes around it.  So instead of searching for Advanced Lotto Tool, search for "Advanced Lotto Tool" (with quotes).

Here is the same search you ran, except using the two tips above:

        http://www.lotterypost.com/search?q=%22Advanced+Lotto+Tool%22&t=all

You can also combine quoted phrases with non-quoted phrases.  For example, you can search for Pick 3 software by putting quotes around Pick 3, and keeping the word software outside the quotes.  In this case, your search keywords would be "Pick 3" software.  (See how software is outside the quotes?)

Here is what that search would return (date range is past year):

        http://www.lotterypost.com/search?t=all&q=%22pick+3%22+software

If you didn't put the quotes around "pick 3", it would find non-related posts -- for example, posts that are about pick 6, but happen to include a "3" somewhere in the post.  The quotes ensure that it is looking for a specific phrase.

By the way, all of this is the way the Google search engine works too, so if you are accustomed to structuring your keywords for Google, you can use similar techniques here.

Has anyone  purchased or heard of this program???

Absolutely, the Advanced Lotto Tool software is arguably one of the best lottery products for the money you can aquire for your collection.  However, don't take my word for it, take advantage of the free 30 day trial and see for yourself.

If you're into wheeling there is some nifty stuff you can do with this wheel maker like making group, pair and positional wheels for Pick-5/6 you can't make with CoverMaster.   If you ever wanted to make wheels like we find in the Robert Serotic books this is one of the few tools that can do it.

The only "problems" I see, is a lack of support due in part because the software comes from Croatia so there is a language barrier, that and they stopped updating draw histories Oct 2008, you have to bring it up to date manually.   This isn't "prediction" software, it builds wheels around your filters instead of removing combinations from your wheel.

If you liked Lottohat and wanted more filters and capabilities for less money this is your baby.  The only thing better is Lotwin.  I have no connection to the Advanced Lotto Tool people beyond being a customer.

If you can't afford top of the line lottery software, this is the best in the economy class I've ever seen.   Not to say there isn't some other good lottery software out there I could mention from WheelGen to Lottery Director and Gail Howard if we were discussing them, each of which has some unique capabilities other lottery software lacks.

I have a copy of Advanced Lotto Tool, the licensed copy never expires, but one year after purchasing one can't update drawings online, it comes with an one-year subscription on updates so now I'm entering draws manually.

Its main drawback is a weak help file, its too simple and many options are not explained in detail or even not at all so one can't use the program to its full functionality.I'm Croatian so it's easier for me because there's a forum where the author gives support, but it's kind of annoying going to the forum and asking every now and then for what is unclear - the author needs to make a decent, comprehensive help file. Some things like filters are straightforward, but some like making and building various wheels ain't.

Sheesh, just switched to English and there is no help file at all!!! Guess the file in croatian can be translated but even in original it's not good, let alone after machine translation...

I would be interested to know how to make a Serotic wheel with Advanced Lotto Tool... Tell me more and an example of a  wheel for a 6/49?

                      Thanks.

Great and thank you BobP... ok so limit is 18 numbers using 6 triplets correct? and it was a 6in6if6 guarantee I was aiming for.... but your reply was appreciated.

How to make a 4if6 Positional Wheel

To make a 4if6in18number positional wheel from six groups using
                            Advanced Lotto Tool.

Open Advanced Lotto Tool. Select a lottery game. Select 18 numbers
by clicking on the grid. Select Guarantee [4if6] Reduction Method
                            [Optimum].

Using the drop down tool bar "Line Builder" select "Filters" and
"Number Groups" a grid box will open showing your selected numbers.

Highlight the three numbers for the first group by clicking on them.
Select Apply to Ball [1]. Do NOT click [ok].

Click on the silver colored box in the upper left corner to advance
to selecting the numbers for the second group.

Highlight the three numbers for the second group by clicking on them.
Select Apply to Ball [2]. Do NOT click [ok].

Click on the silver colored box in the upper left corner to advance
to selecting the numbers for the third group.

Highlight the three numbers for the third group by clicking on them.
Select Apply to Ball [3]. Do NOT click [ok].

Click on the silver colored box in the upper left corner to advance

Click on the silver colored box in the upper left corner to advance
to selecting the numbers for the fifth group.

Highlight the three numbers for the fifth group by clicking on them.
Select Apply to Ball [5]. Do NOT click [ok].

Click on the silver colored box in the upper left corner to advance
to selecting the numbers for the sixth group.

Highlight the three numbers for the sixth group by clicking on them.
Select Apply to Ball [6]. Now click [ok].

The box will vanish and the six number groups will appear on the
screen. Select [Build Lines][View Lines]. When done properly we
should have 22 lines with a number from each group by position in
the combinations. Like these pointers . . .

                            Hi BobP,

the above positional wheel isn't good. I made it with my Wheel Generator and created a 4if6in18 in 17 blocks only within 1 minute.

That is ~23% reduction in cost for the same result of achieving a 4 hit.

                            cheers

Congrads on WG 1.7/8 capabilities, it took Robert Sertoic 18 lines.

Could you please walk through the step by step process of making this 4if6in18 positional wheel in WheelGen from start to finish.

                              Thanks BobP
