Ok.  A little test.  Which will do better; my randomly selected numbers or quick picks from the machine.  We have no data yet..so it's "get lucky" time!  My real prediction is that this game will be as sucky as the rest.  Just another revenue producer for the NY Lottery.  They'll no doubt make sure the first win comes from a quick pick from some low income depressed area.  To help attract interest....and money from the impoverished.

      My Numbers:

      3-8-14-21-27-33

      3-7-11-26-37-38

      Quick Pick

      14-18-22-27-34-39

      10-13-14-17-30-36

Both will probably do just as badly. Thats a good bet.

      BTW:

If NY wants to give us better odds, they should offer a Pick 5 with no more than 30 numbers.  Think they used to have this.

I agree with the QP idea, as ALOT of Take 5 and LOTTO are won by QP, I have been buying at least 1 qp a day on Take 5 to see if that works better than my numbers.  So far they are both about even with each other.

And I love  the 9:30 draw time on this game!!

Money won is twice as good as money earned!

Interesting start with the 16 being the lowest number

OK.  2 out of 6 with my own picks.  0 out of 6 with the quick picks.  Not a bad start.

I think my first mistake with my number selection was not leaving one category of numbers out (single digits, teens, twenties etc...).

This is where draw history (if you buy in to it) could have allowed me to perhaps forecast that single digits were due to  drop out in the draw.

No, I think with 6 balls out of 40 last nights draw is going to be a rare one with the singles not being in it.  I think you will see at least *one* number from all sets show up MOST of the time.

I spent 50 bucks on this drawing an I made my money back plus a little.  Surprised no one won first draw though.

Does the jackpot amount roll over?  Or is it a fixed amount only?   I believe NY takes 63% of the winnings...the actual amount won would be $370,000.....
