Tiggs, Check the back of your PB playslip. I'm not sure if it's the same in all states but in TN it says mark QP and the computer will randomly pick any or all of your numbers.

It's #3 on How To Use A Powerball Playslip. Again though, I don't know if it's the same for all states.

The same phrase is also on the back of an old Hoosier Lottery PowerBall play slip I have.  I haven't been to Indiana to play PB since its last matrix change so that may have changed since then.

The Ky lottery responed to me and said Ky does not have that option..You have to pick all the numbers or the machine will pick all the numbers..You can play 5 numbers on the play slip and have the machine pick the powerball or you can pick the powerball or you can pick the powerball and the machine can pick the 5 numbers and that's the only options you have here in Ky..

        tiggs95,

Maybe the Georgia lottery's website has some information on this.

I'm sure in states that do let players mix their numbers and quick picks that the terminal reads how many numbers were selected and then looks for the amount of numbers it takes to complete the ticket.

Since the technology is already there, it's too bad all states don't have this feature. I don't think it helps the players' odds one bit, but it would be fun.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

        Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

lol i played the same 3 numbers 14 times , for $6. didnt get 1 of the 3 numbers at all, and hardly got anything else. i let machines pick the extra numbers and used the 3 as bankers.  o well
