This is a nice break from P3 and the same old ....same old.

Trying to come up with a crisp new way of looking at Pick 4 is a breath of fresh air.

Getting us all the way down to only 1 unknown digit.

So.... Online play we are only talking $22.50 instead of 45.00 .....to get us all the way down to only one unknown digit.

almost Half the time (43% +/-) we are not counting on "LUCK".... but the pure Math of it all.

I really like it when we can find some sort of solid ground in these games!

It's a good place to start normal filters ....and gamble some from that base.

Around half the time we are .....Guaranteed up to a point at least (75%)...... knowing 3 outta' 4 of the digits.

  Now we can start to use our normal filters on that 4th. digit .

Ga. Eve in the last 6 months has had 71 doubles in Pick 4.

One normal filter

Notice the last 5 doubles were all High Doubles 99,55,88,66,55,,,,,, Nice way to cut our plays down by another HALF..... perhaps. It's a plan.

Other filters will come into play too ...of course. At least now.....we are down to 11.25 online plays. Not too bad.

Anyone have any tracking tricks for Pairs?

hope you got in some sailing this summer--the lake was up good

hit 100% in P4 (except in the rare numbers of course)

if you use the last 15 days, find all 4 digit comb that have one touch. usually around 330. Ky mid today 331 comb to work with

this will produce the winning box roughly 80%. filter as deeply as you want.

50/50 double or not to eliminate roughly half. ky mid, my guess, no double 191 left

long out pair? 75 out 158 days leaves me 27 comb to chose from

65 and 05 are out fairly long also

Grady, thanks for those pairs ......Good to hear from you stranger ...... and yes i got a good bit of sailing in over the summer....in between the RAIN Storms. This is the wettest drought I ever saw. LOL

About that 4th digit..... it can show up in any position of course. So how do we know how to ID that 4th digit??

How about this .....?

1138 3811 1381.......... other than the double digits ..... lets always look at the digit on the far right as the 4th digit. Using the numbers above .....the 4th digit would be the digit 8. No matter what spot it shows up in..... always the one on the right.

We can apply our filters that way ...... Even/High /Low /Odd ........ and even position 1,2,3, 4 and track that as well.

It's all in your perspective..... and how you put things isn't it?

Don't poo poo it too fast because it really is what it seems ...... a simple way of looking at a very hard and complex game. Pick Four has one advantage over its sister game of Pick 3. That advantage is the fact that doubles only hit in P3 about 27% of the time. In P4 we do a lot better. Playing doubles only ....there is a much better chance of hitting a double. Doubles make up almost half the 10,000 chart. Actually, there are 5040 singles in P4......and 4,320 Doubles.

So, about 50% of the time we will lose to either a Single Number ....or one of the other very RARE groups . ......but the rest of the time we are looking at Doubles !

In a perfect world each month with pick 4 we should end up with 15 singles .....and 15 doubles ..... but in the real world .....we will have to make due with only 12 or 13 Doubles each month ...not 15.

Keeping it simple ........ we will get a double around every other draw. We'll take that.

So, about HALF the time the number that day will start off with one of the double pairs below.

If we wheel one of 9 digits for the 3rd digit ......... we will have our 3 digit that day.... guaranteed ! So, we won't have to "PAY" the $50.00 after all...... It's only going to be $45.00 ( I padded it a little)

For 45 bucks we can covers all of them and guarantee ourself hitting at least 3 of the 4 digits.

There it is ..... The guaranteed System to have 3 of 4 digits around HALF the time in Pick 4.

Half the time we have 75% of the number covered.

So...... the first 3 digits are as easy as falling off a log ...... it's that 4th digit

That 4th digit is the one you should pay for.

That's the expensive one.

Now ..... I'll pay anyone 50.00 bucks .....(not for 3 digits) ...but for just that one 4th. digit.

Anyway....that's may case for playing the doubles each day..... starting off with those 10 double pairs ......instead of starting off with 45 single number pairs. 10 is a lot better than 45 ......and its automatic up to 3 of the 4 digits.

Chaz, I am missing something in this "If we wheel one of 9 digits for the 3rd digit ......... we will have our 3 digit that day.... ". My old brain is refusing to co-operate. Please explain or PM me.

HI Bob ! Yes.... thats right. We start off each day by deciding on playing just the doubles .....or parts thereof.

Then,,, we could play all 9 digits in 3rd postion or 3rd digit choice actually....or parts thereof ....again.

We would then have 3 of the 4 digits each time. 75% of the end winning double number.

Lots better than having to start off with the 45 single number pairs thats for sure? Just staying with the 10 doubles as a starting place at the least.

Not only do doubles pay twice as much ..... they are 2 times more prone to STRAIGHT hits as well.

Starting with 45 pairs ......or the 10 double pairs ..... The doubles are better.

Those are the 360 Box doubles you posted up there ..... times 12 ways = 4,320 Straight Doubles.

Of course we could always really push the envelope and play all of them online for $90.00 bucks and win 187.50 ...................... or 375.00 or 750.00 thats .25 or .50 or 1.00 respectively.

I sure hope they pass the legislation in December to allow online gambling again. Then we can play like you suggest. I know a lot of us are looking forward to it.

FYI..... Ga Eve .... The last 11 doubles in a row had Short Sums of 5 or less ! With the exception of short sum 2.

That leaves us with missing Short Sums ..... 2, 6,7,8,9

There's a 50/50 filter for me at least. Nothing but high Short sums for the next double + the 2 sum.

That leaves us with these 176 box doubles below.....of which I like 00,,and 44 the best.
