Would you be mad if you got 5 of 6 numbers in either the MM or your state lottery?

Personally I would be happy and mad at the same time. I'll be happy that I won a lot and I'll be mad that I didn't win millions. Lol

I wouldn't. I would be glad about what I won. I don't think there is such thing as "close" in the lottery. You get what you get. That's how I see it.

Im with you Sully.  Well. especially if I won MM cause  we don't currently get along.  But If I won only 5 numbers in our SLP I could get a new roof put on the house.  If Mega Millions finally takes pity on me  I could still put down a hefty sum on a brand new house and sock some away.   Even 4 numbers will put a nice smile on my face.  I could pay a few  bills,  have a few negative balances.  Its a great feeling to see that $-0.00 in front of "payment due"

It would be disingenuous of me, if I said that I would be happy with anything?!,

On the rare Occasions that I play the JP, MM, games is with hope to Win it all.. With apologies to not a single sole. So if I missed it by one, I would have to lay Confuseddown in the bed for a while, and then gradually Be happy with my nice consolation price!! UnhappyDisapproveSmiley

hell with 250 k or 200k for pb, i would be more then happy,  it would take care of my life short term

i think i would just create a buffer money account

, instand of taking a loan out for a new car, i would just buy it in cash, and then just get my saving account backup  to levels before the car

,     pretend the interest payments you would of been  paying went to your saving account instand, you would paid for the car cost in no time at all

having such a large savings account to buffer all my major item purchases like cars, big sceen tvs so forth, would make life a lot easyer,

its the interest people pay that steals all their wealth not the price of the items itself really

Are you guys just trying to be modest or being completely honest with your anwsers? You guys wouldn't be one bit disaapointed for not hitting that 1 number?

I'm being completely honest. If I get second prize, I get second prize, and that's what was meant to happen. Heck, even second prize is hard enough to get by itself, let alone the jackpot. I should be thankful I could even get that.

I don't believe I would be mad, but I do think I would be a bit dissappointed for missing the jackpot by one number. I would however, be grateful and happy that I won a second prize.

I would be disappointed, but not upset. I would appreciate getting 5 numbers, as it would be enough to pay off all my bills... and then I'd have less stress, and enough money to keep trying for the jackpot.  Big Grin

That is one of the things I would tell myself, to feel better that I missed by one. Then I would get out of bed and go cash my winning, but not with a lawyer!
