      Thanks in Advance for doing this thread for Fathers and in honor of Father's Day - just as you did for Mothers.
      Any number suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

      My deceased father's name is L. D. (initials only). His date of birth was 11/24.1929. He died 12/29/2004. In fact, his mother and her sisters and most of the women in his family named all their sons by initials.  They refused to have an "outsider" give their sons names associated with sharecropping and the like.

            My Father's Name was   FRANK......thank you and hope that you have a very nice Father's Day yourself....

                      We have relatives in Michigan that I kept up with in years and I need to do some ancestral research. Perhaps there is a connection because the dates coincide and the initial naming is a rarity. PM me...
