Or was it Rick Derringer singing and Edgar Winter on keyboards?

Yeah, Rick definitely did his own version but I think I had Edgar mixed up with his brother Johnny who I believe did the original version. (Or, the opposite, lol) (Those days flew by fast in a haze)

I saw Edgar do it live once though and that's the version that sticks in my mind.     "Johnny Winter And"  (1970 album with Rick Derringer playing guitar and contributing vocals to this album)

    Derringer's version came out in  '73 with Edgar playing keyboards on this album
