            RJOh,

Sorry if the answer to this is posted somewhere in the Challenge rules, but I didn't come across it.  What do the results mean?  in "3 + 0", 3 whats and 0 whats?

Also, I would have thought the picks would have been judged on the basis of ROI, Return On Investment.  For the majority of posters, 12 white ball and 4 powerball choices result in (792 * 4) or 3,168 tickets required to cover all the bettor's possible wins.  Wouldn't a contestant ranking based on the dollars won on the total of the 3,168 tickets played make more sense?  Unless the current system resulting in scores like "3+0" or "2+1" is essentially a shorthand for ROI, which is doubtful, it might be producing a much different ranking of the entrants.

            Thoughts?

"3+0" stands for 3 WB + 0 PB.  The ratings are based on the best that the 12 WB and 4 PB could have done.  This challenge was started by Maddog and it follows his rules.  Originally, there were other challenges by other posters with difference rules for rating results, Maddog's is the only ones that have lasted over the years.

If you have an idea for a different one, why not start it and see what happens.
