When the lottery first started back in Sept of 1988, I bought one and never scrached it off, Just found it wonder what it might be worth?

            Not sure about tickets back then, but now there are rules printed on the back. They are usually a set time once the end of the game period, that you must claim them. I've seen both 180 days and 365 days. So, if it is a top prize winner, most likely it will look good in a frame.

              LOL this is awesome! My dad and mom split a pick 3 VA ticket on the first ever drawing back in 1992 i believe and won for $80!
