Instead of throwing a party, I'd get with Todd to discuss footing the bill for a 1 year Platinum Membership for every registered member here at Lottery Post. I think that would be a great gift to a great bunch of folks plus it would be a great gift for the Chief Bottle Washer.

Ooo... now that would be a nice party favor.

            Kah-ching for Todd.

But I'd invest in other ways, too.

Nah just friends and family only, I think having all that attention would be bad for myself and my family.

If I won a jackpot, my vote is my family. I would finish my school and then retire.

I'm a hermit and I don't like much people.  Winning the lottery certainly wouldn't change that.  Approve

                    Great response so far.

I like to see how the distribution fills up as more data comes in.

It's about what we were expecting.

Just so you know, we selected ' Yes, Everyone '.

Not only am I a hermit, but if I won that much money I'd be a dissapeared hermit.  Both me and the money would be out of this country in a very skinney minute, and in an LLC inside a trust in a bank account someplace like Singapore or Hong Kong.  If this was the real 1984 and Ronald Reagan was my president, then I'm sure I would do things differently.  But since it most assurdly the Orwellian 1984, and Reagan difinitly isn't the prez, I have to take alternatives that I'd prefer not to make since I love my country, but don't care for my government too much these days.

personally I am one of these keep quiet people

now a anonymous party why not.

I don't even think I would tell most of my family.

the last thing I want is anyone asking me for money

because frankly I don't even want to respond to beggars

Great feedback everyone; the implications of letting everyoneelse know about their big win can be a big deal.

                          Good Luck All.

While I think most LP members would wish another member well who won a $100M+ jackpot, I doubt if any would spend time and money attending a celebration party of any lottery winner, even a LP member, if they weren't sharing the prize.

Nope. I don't plan on having a party/celebration, I'd be busy trying to keep it secret. If I did it would only be a VERY small celebration of 3-4 people. And if someone here invited me to their celebration party I wouldn't go, even if they paid for the transportation... sorry guys. I'd be happy for you just wouldn't have the time.

I'm pretty much a hermit, I go out places but not for anything huge. This will probably help me if I ever win the jackpot, I wouldn't have to worry about a bunch of friends turning on me because I wouldn't give them money. Of course I think if I had free time and didn't have to spend so much time with other things I would go out and do more things, so who knows, maybe I could throw a party for some people on here to celebrate. The people I meet after I win definitely wouldn't know about my wealth or how I got it.

With the way my numbers have been going lately I'm not counting on having to worry about whether or not to throw a party, though. Didn't get a single number tonight (out of 5 lines) and have had very few the past couple of draws. Between recent luck and odds I will be deciding on whether or not to go to someone else's celebration before I have to worry about throwing my own. But who knows maybe some crazy luck will come my way.
