There seems to be a lot of controversy expressed in recent LP posts regarding the value of 'Quick Picks' vs 'System Picks.'
While I think the value of one method over the other has produced an ongoing 'circular argument' having no end, I at the same time
strongly believe that 'structured workouts' can be productive. They are certainly more fun to use and a great source of entertainment.
An ongoing OP vs system picks challenge in the Pick 5 Forum by Luminus is producing mixed results. It demonstrates you can be a winner today
and a loser tomorrow.
A lottery truism is that, given the random nature of lotteries, you never know what will happen next.
Luminus provided some details regarding his number generating method, but I doubt it's a scheme that can be
duplicated by most lottery players.
Face it, the development of a realistic, structured and easily understood number generating workout is no easy task. Explaining how
it works is also a difficult job.
I have a workout that I call 'Gap Strategy' that I use to map and track various trends in the games that I play.
It is 'universal' in that it can be used for any on-line lottery game.
However, it is not a 'finished work' by no means.
What it lacks is 'constructive criticism' by folks who understand lottery number analysis and can evaluate the varied issues
relative to a functional workout.
I'm sure some folks believe that the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. In other words, a workout that
generates winning combinations now and then is a good one.
While this may be enough for some folks, it's not enough for me. I need more.
Over the past couple of years, I've posted a considerable amount of information regarding Gap Strategy. I've tried in
manifold ways to explain the workout in often minute detail.
I've posted predictions for almost all of the lottery games available in Texas, plus Florida's Fantasy 5 game.
I wish I could say I've been right more times than I was wrong, but I can't.
Gap Strategy is not a number generator per se. It is a extensive set of data streams that can be used to aid the lottery number
guesswork. There is no single feature that one can activate to get combinations ready to play. Instead, the user evaluates
the trends and, following specific methods, chooses numbers for a wheel which then generates combinations for play.
I've had a lot of success with Pick 3 and had several 4/5 wins in the Pick 5/37 game, I've not won any significant prizes.
While I believe some folks who visit LP regularly have adopted Gap Strategy, which is a 'paper and pencil workout,' I've not received any useful feedback.
What I have received are complaints calling the 'workout too complicated and time consuming' for the average lottery player.
My general reply is that just about everything 'new' can be diffcult to learn initially. It's like learning to drive.
There are many issues to consider during the learning process, but we all have adapted to the point where operating a vehicle
is a 'piece of cake,' so to speak.
In other words, you don't have to be a 'rocket scientist' in order to construct the workout. A high school education, or equivalent life
experience, is sufficient.
Another, maybe the most important, question is: Why do I care? Why share or give away a lottery number generating system?
I strongly believe in 'self help,' that is, I want to be the master of my own fate. No 'state generated quick picks' for me.
Win or lose, I take the blame.
I developed Gap Strategy to guide my number selection activity. It has paid off in some respects but can be improved.
As indicated earlier, I'm at a point where I need inputs from other players.
Specifically, I need help in finding a solution to the 'missed by one' problem that I have to deal with for all the games I play.
There are several other issues needing resolution, some of which will greatly improve the number selection processes.
I could go on and on, but, I think I've reached a point where its 'put up or shut up'
Maybe I'm wasting my time with Gap Strategy. I need to know one way or the other. Maybe I'm overlooking some things that could
improve my win-lost ratio.
Therefore, I'm going to answer a challenge posed by Luminus, which is to demonstrate that my workout is superior to quick picks.
Specifically, I'm going to use one of my recent $290 Pick 3 wins to generate combinations for the new Powerball game.
My choices and the QPs, which will be those generated by the RNG at the USA Mega website, will be posted in the Jackpot game forum for all to see.
My hope is that a few of the thousands of folks who visit LP will be convinced that Gap Stragegy is something they should take seriously;
that they will therefore do the research and develope the workout.
Maybe in time, there will be enough of us on the 'same page' where 'teamwork' becomes a real possibility.
Stay tuned.
