Tonight's estimated jackpot for the Georgia Fantasy 5 drawing is $694,000. As many of you know, there are only 575,757 possible combinations. If you were to purchase all 575,575 combinations, you would be 100% guaranteed to win.

You would win a gross amount of $118,243. Well here is the big question: How much will this cost you in taxes? Will you owe taxes on the whole thing? Can't you deduct all of your losing tickets from your tax liability? If so, does that mean that you would only owe taxes on the $118,242? Even at a tax rate of 40%, that is still an earning of almost $71,000. Plus I have some extra non-winning lottery tickets.
Now if someone had that type of money to spend, could all of those tickets be figured out before 10 PM tonight? How would you print all of them? Could they all be printed before say 10 pm tonight? Does anyone have the ability to generate and print these numbers? I have figured that each bet slip holds 10 possible combinations, so you would need 57,558 bet slips.
Where would you go to purchase your tickets? Can anyone tell me how many possible slips a GA lotto machine can scan per hour? How many tickets can it print per hour? How long would it take to run all of the numbers?
Anyone have access to a HPC computer such as a Cray or IBM? I need a high end workstation or a supercomputer to do this quickly, so that we can get to printing. I have found a web page that, that you can search for online. California Fantasy 5 Combinations Generator (Full Wheel). Search for that. The only problem is that it will only allow for 28 numbers at a time, and we need 39. Even at 28 numbers, that is still 98,280 combinations, and my old P4 is having a time with it. It does not want to render. I will shut down Prime 95 and IIS and see if that helps. OK, that released enough processing power. I need to steal the code, and see if I can get it to generate all 575,575 combinations.
And another thing, do you have to use official bet slips, or can you use regular paper, with the marks printed in the proper place? I can imagine that the GA Lottery would roll their eyes if I asked for 576,000 bet slips... Havent been to many gas stations either that keep that many on hand, that I know of.
