First let me restate how to actually find the missing digit.

1. Take out a sheet of paper.

2. Get the draw results for your state.

3. Start with the digit 0. Look for it starting with the immediate draw, keep looking down the list of draw results midday & evening combined...if the digit is coming up on a week missing, (sometimes it can be 5 days missing & a hit may happen the next day or so) then it is indeed a candidate for an upcoming draw, hopefully very very soon.

4. Continue in this same manner with the digit 1 until you reach the digit 9. You are checking digits 0 through 9. Sometimes you may have more than one digit missing.

_________________________

The following is what I call the short term hit, meaning if a digit is missing for two days, it may appear on the third day.

If a digit is missing for three days it may appear on the fourth day.

I am finding that this happens more readily.

Let's take a look at some examples.

NJ 3/4 Cha Cha Cha

Scroll down to the digit 1 & 8 on Dec. 15-M & E, then it appears on Dec. 19-E. See that, the digit 1 & 8 out three days & BAM the fourth day the digits are here.

They do not always appear together, but as you see they can.

    Laverne,

You do not need a sheet of paper.  Just use the pick-3 calculator and plug the draws in the back-test page.

It will list the digits that are missing from the last four draws.
