Hello Matt and everyone else. I spent $50 today and got $5 back in return. Go me. We have a new game, Jumbo Bucks Bingo, and it is a $3 game. I bought 7 of those today and only one won. I don't buy a whole lot of tickets under $5, except for new games. I also purchased Super Millions, a $20 game which never seems to win, or if it wins it is a free ticket. Cash Blast is another game with hit or miss luck. It is a $10 game, and if I win, I usually win a free ticket or $15, but have won $25 and $50. The Jeep game I won $50 once, but haven't won more than $20 since, and most are losers or winners in the $5 to $15 range. I won $100 on Maximum Green recently, so that offset my losses. I went on a pretty good winning streak, but now my luck seems to be pretty poor. It really stings when you spend $50 on the lotto, and only get $5 back.
I am pretty sure that I have spent nearly $10,000 on lotto in the year I have been playing, but have never won more than $300. I haven't been on here for a while. We had a house fire, and other things to keep me busy. Matt, I haven't talked to you in a while. How have things been going? Have you won more than $200 yet? I am still dreaming of that $500+ winner. I don't know how it is in PA, but here in GA people win all over the state, and I swear there are more wins off the beaten path than in the more populated areas. I don't get it.
I have had the idea of taking a few hundred (or thousand if I could afford it) and driving all over the back country. Maximum Green with a $5,000,000 top prize has only gone from two to three top prize winners in the last year, so half of the top prizes (three out of six) are still out there. What I don't know is if the lottery is either A) holding them back to keep the game alive or B) They are sitting on the shelf of a very slow lotto retailer that sells very few tickets, probably way back in the boonies. You always here the story of the last ticket in the roll sitting for months, and no one will buy it, then someone finally does and it is worth a million dollars. Those are the types of stories lottery retailers like to tell. The first or last ticket can go either way
If anyone knew how to consistently win the bigger prizes, they would never tell. They would just keep it to themselves most likely. After All, if they tell their secrets someone else might get their prize. I know that roll numbers and or validation numbers mean something, I just don't know what. I skipped number 14 (the last ticket in the roll) and bought another stupid Super Millions ticket. I am always wary of the second or last ticket in a roll. Too many people keep buying until they win. I have done it. If you look around this site, you will find a story about lottery retailers where the owners, their families, and co workers have cashed in millions of dollars worth of tickets. You know that they have to know something that we don't. Sorry to go on and on. once I start typing, I can't quit.
Dog gon it, it is time for me to hit a big one, at least $500, but I would really love to get my hands on a top tier prize, say over $10,000. I need another extra thousand dollars or so to finish building my supercomputer. I just need a second CPU and a couple more internal fans for nice positive pressure and to keep things cool inside. Then I can install my other 24 GB of memory.
