Its been a while since a won anything decent. Bought two of these $5 tickets on the way home yesterday. So thankful to finally get in the plus column again. Good luck folks. Second 1K win in this card. I bought one and hit 1K couple years ago. This card has been good to me and by far my favorite NC offering.

I went a little wild at Wegmans today when I saw Fabulous $500 was on #010. I have been wanting to have a spree at the beginning or end of one of those rolls. First I got #010, which lost. Then later I bought from #007 to #000. Surprisingly there were 5 winners, with 4 being in a row. I think that may be a first for me seeing 4 winners in a row on a $5 ticket. Unfortunateiy the highest win was $20, and won $45 total - just got my money back. But could have been much worse. Still no $500 found on that game. I really tried.

Put in $40, won $30 back today. Most notable is the clerk asked for a tip on $25 winnings! I've never had someone at Giant ask for a tip before. I didn't give it. What is standard lottery etiquette here?
Someone supposedly won $1,000 from that Giant store today. Again, why couldn't it be me?
I tip on anything $100 and up. Depends on the win and the clerk.
Had a fire night tonight. Started with a $50 winner my son scratched on a $2 GRD. Then we were like "let's go". Next was a $100 that he also scratched on a $2 Electric 8's. haven't seen many around so I bought the last 70 they had. Won about $180 back.
Next we tried the $1 GRD. Low and behold, another $100 winner and a $20, both he scratched.
At this point, I taught him the vauluable lesson of knowing when to quit when you are ahead.
Side note, I got hot on $10 GRD. Hit 4 straight winners, 006-009. $65, nothing huge. But one was a $30, which isn't a minimum payout prize on a full book, as the odds are 1:75. Book has 60. So I'm wondering if this is a hot roll, and I should go there in the morning and stay on them. Or if that was it, it prolly won't payout anything. This one has me all confuzled.

Lost three 20X the Moneys and got back $10 on the fourth one.
Closed a Power 5's book by playing - and losing - #78 + #79.
Played three 10X the Moneys and won a $2 Ticket and $5.
Got depleted playing a Mega Crossword, Electric 7's, Year of the Rooster, Tripling Bonus Crossword... Got my Daily 3 stuck in the kiosk and lost a Fantasy 5 trying to print it out behind the Daily 3. What do you do about that anyway when the staff don't have the key?

Matt, etiquette is... it's your money, don't feel pressured
thinking you need to tip. I only tip if I got some info from
clerk on a big win.
Chris, how the heck that store get new tixs already. That means
Pa lottery sends out tixs on Friday to some retailers not all.
Odds on all tixs looks the same as before, ehh. Interesting note
on that $5 triple win tix, guaranteed winners gonna be thrown away
because most people don't scratch prize amount. What a scam!
Good luck peeps.
I agree, I do not usually tip at all. Maybe if I got it at the same store and it was $10,000 or something. I really could use all the winnings. Do store clerks really sometimes know if a roll has a big win?
Wow, that was an old post of mine dug up. Oddly I heard of more big wins back then at my stores than I do now. All my 5 claim wins have been since 2014.

I have only tipped twice in the course of my lotto career. I believe that a clerk should either be consistently kind and professional to me or have assisted in the win somehow. I get offended when they act pretentious. My involvement with actually tipping has been to give the person I feel indebted to a $20 Powerball. I did this on only two occasions. Also, when I play at a place close to my house repeatedly, I will give the clerk a new Scratcher between $1 and $5 for their patience with me, although it's rare.

Wow lucky day! Congrats. I think the new ones might be duds once again. Beer store was the only place that had the new ones. Got #003 and #004 of the $20 Gold Rush, and both won for face value $20. Got #000-003 of the new $5 Triple Match ticket, and only won $5.
