  Don't worry about gambling with the p-3 games.

  Having to choose the right God is a gamble in itself.  If you pick the wrong God to worship, you could end up in the bad part of town somewhere up there in the ether.....lol

  any and or all kinds of organized religions ought to be considered a sin that and of it's self 

  I reckon won't be too much longer b4 we'll find out whos wrong or right but if the afterlife holds to any one truth the OTHER PLACE won't be empty by any means

  Christianity is too much pressure on anyone.  Imagine if you did win.  God would just force you to give it all away.  That's not the kind of pressure I would want to live under.

  The Subject Guide in my Bible says nothing about gambling. The way that I see it, it is only a sin if gambling takes over your life. I saw a man whose car had a bumper sticker that said, "Jesus is the answer" go into a store and play the lottery.

  Today's winning 3-ball is going to be a number between 000 and 999.

  In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play!

  What's the difference between praying in church and praying at the racetrack?

  (Or in a casino, watching a drawing, etc...)

  At the racetrack you really mean it.

  

  Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners. 

  

  There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

  A few years ago I was riding DART (the public transit in Dallas) from the VA back to my home. There is a transit point called West End to switch from the blue line to the red line. There is always a lot of people from all walks of life there.

  So happens this evening there were several young men talking about what they were going to do with the money they had earned. And I listened.

  One was going to get some new clothes and another was going to get shoes. One was going to have a few drinks. I started thinking about these things when the youngest guy in the group announced, "I'm giving all this money to God because if it weren't for God, I wouldn't have this job."

  Maybe I looked guilty. Maybe I looked stupid. Maybe I smirked. I don't know.

  He asked me, "What's your problem?"

  So I told him, "It's not my choice. But if God wanted money, He has the power to make mountains of gold. He can make mountains of any currency in the world. He doesn't need your money. And if he gave you the job, then he wanted you to have the money."

  It sounds right. If God gave it to you, He wanted you to have it. But what you do with it is none of my business. 

  Same with any sporting event. How does God determine who is going to win? Does He count the number of people praying for each team and the team with the most people praying wins?

  I don't think God cares about every single detail. He's not a micro-manager.

  Think about it, Moses used lotteries to divide Israel. If it were a sin, don't you think God would have told Moses?

   let me guess ... hes also walks on water and is one of those full of bean types too
