You hear all the time when one plays the lotto to 'play responsibly'. What does that mean for you? Is it playing a specific amount one day a week or more? Give your feedback.I Agree!

    Very simple:

Don't act like you just got off the bus from Palookaville, Kentucky - have a strict minimal budget and game plan and stick to it.

Only risk what you can afford to lose or $1 per draw.  (you cant win it if your not in it).

No way I'll play any more than $1 per ticket.

I Agree! Even if I buy a hundred of them, no PowerPlay or Megaplier for me.

priorities come first... bills/ household stuff/ groceries/ kids needs... etc, etc...

i am blessed that ive never NOT been able to play a drawing (other than by choice, sometimes, or sheer laziness LOL) but definitely priorities come first.

ofc its means jsut money you can throw away

i spend more money per money on cable bill, tv +net+phone all in 1.

people donate money to charity all the time, i just "donate" but get no tax rebate to lottery, in my state it funds young people  getting scholarships and grants to go to our state's colleges

                    so am all for it.

thro right now am just buying 1 buck only tickets for pb/mm, its not to the cash hits 50m cash or about 100m marketed that i buy 2 tickets.  come 200m  range am about 5 bucks, and 3 bucks gloves are off and its spend  spend spend.

i look as it as tiers. i don't spend much now so i can spend more when my eyes see such large amounts

i also buy a few instant tickets here and their, but my state has a 2nd chance drawing, so i try and always play 1 instant game each

its like a raffle, their 1 grand prize winner by a random draw, packed via all the losers numbered entered online by some RNG

so am all for getting at lest 1 chance per ever RNG draw with lots of money offered :D

Kentucky just started a 6/47 game with a $2 ticket called Decades of Dollars. The prizes start by matching 2 numbers and getting a free ticket, $10 for matching 3, $100 for matching 4, $10,000 matching 5, and $250,000 a year for 30 years jackpot. Winners can chose a cash option of $4 million too. The game is averaging about 13,000 free tickets and two $10,000 winners a drawing and several of the the winners live in Palookaville, Kentucky.

Every time I see "$2 a ticket" I'm reminded of Lot 'O Play where the only drawing worth playing was the final drawing.

When I play powerball or mega milion I will play the powerplay or megaplyer with it.  Only buy depending on size of jackpot 2 to 5 dollars per draw which will double with the powerplay or megaplyer.   I used to be like you and never added it.  I started doing this about 3 or 4 months ago and it is paying off for me as far as over the long haul of getting my money back or possibly a small profit.  Dont hit everytime but it does seem like I can catch the powerplay number or mega number and depending on the size of the number get my money back at least for the week.
