I like the way Massuchsettes' game is. Especially the pari-mutual 63%, and kind of the actual game.
I'd wanna play like this....
0123
012x
013x
023x
123x
x012
x013
x023
x123
All box. If you got all 4 numbers right, you'd get a pretty nice prize, and if you had 3 right you still get a pick 3 box. Of course that's a 4.50 cent box bet.
I also like how you can pick pretty much any type of bet to play. If only Pick 3 and Pick 4 games allowed us to just bet on wheels, similar to Ontario's Combination Play on it's 6/49 games- Except allow us to pick bet amount, and win prizes according to odds.
So like (1-2-3-4-5) Straight/Box for 2.50/2.50 would pay as if you wagered 25/25 cents on each combo, because you can make 10 combos. You'd win straight if the numbers came in the order you chose (in this example 123, 124, 125, 134, 135, 145, 234, 235 ,245, 345) If, on the other hand, you picked the numbers (1-2-3-4-5-6) 2.50/2.50 Straight/Box, each would only have a 12.5 cents on each, because there are 20 possible combos.
Using this, I could imagine playing a key number bet something like (1-2-1-3-1-4-1) S/B or (1-1-2-3-3-4) Box
I'm not sure if I explained that clearly at all. I'd just like to be able to make bets with more numbers, for a wager of my choice, and win according to what my odds would be. As in, I may have to calculate my own odds, instead of reading it, but that's not really too difficult.
