Ridge is trying to get this guy to post what he said he would, unless I misunderstood something - Ridge hasn't mentioned having a "system."  Hell I was under the impression he doesn't believe that they work.

As for me, I think there's things you can do to help out your "likelyhood" of winning, but it has nothing to do with these mathemetical fallacies.  And even those systems don't really raise your "odds" but rather give you a nice winning streak once in a while, when things go well, while reducing you plays.  I don't really feel much like explainning too far, but it has to do with finding what digits are "trending up."  Make pairs out of those, and play those pairs with either 0-9 if there's only 2, or whatever you favorite numbers are (I noticed this method pulls a lot of 0s, 3s and 6s as the third digits, but that could easily be in my head) if there are more.

I usually don't even play that method anymore to keep mu budget down, but IDK if it'll help anyone.  I've got work soon, and I'll be able to explain better later, probably.

But keep in mind that no "method" increases your actual odds of winning.  I like my method because it organises my numbers, and because if you catch the right "trend" you can get a few hits within a few days.

-I'm a little rusty, since I haven't used this method in a while, but I'll still post some pairs for NJ.

Evening:

23 27 28 37 38 78

Favorites to show, top row is the best, second is next, etc.

Top) 28 37

Med) 27 78

Low) 23 38

This midday's a little tougher, no trends clearly showing.....  still I'll through out a guess.

04 05 45

Thanks Boney, but just for the record, I never said I don't believe systems work.

I do believe that patterns and trends can and do develop in the random draw of numbers.

I do believe if you have the interest, ability and time you can develop a strategy to use these patterns and trends to improve your odds and call it a system.

I think that's a good thing and the sharing and discussion of it makes LP an interesting place.

At the other end of the spectrum are the guys who show up out of the blue with "systems" that are "guaranteed" to win 80 to 90% of the time.

This latest guy made a wild claim about his Arizona numbers and they were all losers. All of them. Not one winner. He hasn't mentioned those numbers or his claim in that post again. Do you think if they had won that he wouldn't have mentioned them again? You'd never hear the end of it.

He also promised to post numbers for TN and IL and other states on the 18th. He never posted jack-squat.

And he never mentioned that again either.

That gives me an itch I can't scratch.

(Meant to quote my pairs posted)

Evening result 483.  Had the 38 pair, but as you can see it wouldn't be too effective unless you played online.  It's only really effective when you can eliminate all but 4 or less pairs.

And yeah, Ridge, I hate when people post those "magic" methods that gauruntee 2 of 3 if singles and claim that they give a 1 in 8 chance if singles are drawn, or when people post that 20 pair wheel that will always have one right without doubles without explaining how, or why, they work.  They don't raise your odds of winning at all, when compared to say, 8 quick picks.  Hell I'm pretty sure one out of every 8 singles will contain two numbers from another single, but I'm not gonna even bother doing that math on that useless method.

There's just no method that can give you that win percentage without just getting plain lucky.  And people that claim to have them can never put their money where there mouth is, because they don't exist.

Newbies who are interested in Pick 3 tracking would be much better off learning methods of analyzing trends, or understanding the game, rather than believe non-sense.  But oh well, they'll realize that these systems are more than likely garbage.

Say again please.  Playing online?  4 or less pairs I get.  What if you took your '38' and cross-reff'd with the prime pairs.  Any prime pair with an '8' you would combo (i.e., 48 =483...80 would = 803, etc.  BTW took your earlier suggestions.  Numbers came up tonight.  Had I played rather than test, the payout would have been 102/36.  Is that a good ration?  I will forward over the results later. Long weekend here.  Thanks for your help.

It's possible to wager bets on states Pick 3 and 4 games online, although it's illegal for banks to transfer those funds within the US, and some states, mine included ban online gambling altogether, so even if I found a way around the federal law blocking bank transfer, I could potentially get in trouble with NJ (although nobody ever has, I'd still rather not become the first lol)

I suppose you could cross reference whatever you want to find the 3rd digit, but I don't suggest using "prime pairs" as there's no real such thing.  Personally, I think the posted high frequency and low frequency pairs are meaningless.

So you should have no problem playing online, although I'm not sure we're supposed to talk about it on LP.

Look it up, there's a couple of reputable sites, and the payouts 90% of odds.  One dollar straight wins you 900 dollars.

Thanks.  So, why does playing online minimize risk or reduce cost?  What would be the benfefit please?  Do not believe we can play online here, but can do so at the casinos.  Also, what about EZ's pairs?  I back-tested them until I was blue-in-face.  They appeared to work at his 99% statement.

The online playing can reduce costs, b/c you can bet as low as .25 cents, straight would pay out 225.50 I believe, box 37.50.  I'm like 99% sure Canadian law doesn't regulate online gambling or sportsbooks, but maybe your province does.  I'd look it up, because I seriously doubt it, and it'd be worth it if you can legally take advantage of it.  The benefit is higher payout.

The EZ pairs work at that rate because they are mathemitically designed to.  You could do a test on these pairs and get the same results....

12 13 14 15 23 24 25 34 35 45

67 68 69 60 78 79 70 89 80 90

OR

13 15 17 19 35 37 39 57 59 79

02 04 06 08 24 26 28 46 48 68

The reason is that you can take any 5 numbers, put them into every pair, and take the other 5 and do the same.  Then any single that comes up must contain 1 or 3 pairs from a group.

It's almost like saying, play every single box, and you'll win if a single comes up.  It's true but not profitable.

Thanks.  Ok, the online thing is interesting.  However, does one begin to process due diligence upon an online company?

I'm sorry I don't really understand what you are asking.

If you're asking how you get paid out, it's basically through money transfer services, which can't legally send money to those companies from the US.

If you mean how would you, say, file a complaint, I'm not sure.  But I'd imagine you can contact those sportbooks/websites/comapies.

Moneygrams are legal.

I don't know that they are completely illegal, but to services like this in the US, yes they are.

But you can use Western Union to send people money.

In Florida where I live, there are drug stores and Walmarts that provide customers a service which costs 10 bucks per transaction, and you can personally receive a Moneygram or send one. How you decide to cash that check that is sent as payment is totally up to you. I would recommend cashing them at a check cashing place, and NOT deposit it into your bank.

Then you'll have to find a way to launder all that money....

I'm very unhappy with the way the US has it's laws and monopolies set up regarding lotteries, and I suppose I'd be OK with this it, if most State Lotteries brought states their entire budget.

But I'm a really limited government guy.  And the way I see it - with a state government that only takes in about and spends 1 billion dollars, their will be a lot of businesses picking up the slack.

Or, if they really want income tax, then lottery winnings shouldn't be included, and I should be able to play whereever I want.  But Washington doesn't really believe in economic freedom.

Actually I just looked it up and NJ got 2.6 Billion this year.  wow.

And as for the online sites, I can't really help you Poirot.  Look around this site, someone was posting a complaint about it a few days ago.
