I'm happy to announce that I just finished a site update that included the latest Lottery Post tool, and it is available to everyone.
The new tool is called the Lottery Combinations Generator, and it's purpose is to generate all possible combinations of lottery results for the parameters you specify.
Unlike the Full Wheels generator already available at Lottery Post, the Lottery Combinations Generator lets you specify almost any number matrix. The reason its able to do that is that all of the combinations are generated on YOUR computer, not on the Lottery Post server, so there is no danger that someone will try to generate a mongo-huge number set and melt the server.
I've actually been working on this tool for a LONG time, and it has gone through several different iterations, but the technologies were never available to make it work fast enough to be up to our standards at Lottery Post.
With the latest Web browsers on the market -- Google Chrome, Firefox 4, Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer 9 -- there is finally a cutting-edge technology available to really push the performance that can be achieved using just the browser. This technology allows me to write multi-threaded JavaScripts, so that I can better utilize the processing power in your computer. I'm happy enough with the current performance that I finished all the loose ends of the tool this week, and released it this evening.
However, I do want to issue a word of caution: READ THE INTRODUCTION ON THE TOOL CAREFULLY. If you are using Internet Explorer version 8 or lower (and many people do), you will need to be very careful about how many combinations you ask the tool to create. Your Web browser just isn't capable of chunking huge numbers of combinations, and if you try something huge, you may have to force-close your browser.
For example, if an IE8 user tried creating all combinations in a 6/49 game (almost 14 million combinations), they could wait weeks and the browser would probably still be frozen trying to figure it out. However, a Firefox 4 user could probably get the complete list generated the same day, maybe even within some number of minutes. (I have no idea, actually, how long it would take, since I haven't tried it yet, but I have tried 6/40, and it was only a few minutes in Firefox.)
Again, read the intro on the tool. Don't just skip past it. There is lots of important and useful info there -- including browser recommendations and quirks. (For example, Google Chrome is screaming fast, but there is currently a glitch in the browser that makes it pause for a while before displaying very big sets of combinations. So I'd use Firefox 4 or Safari, or even Opera, before using the current version of Chrome for enormous sets.)
Overall, try things out using smaller sets, and increase the parameters gradually to see how your computer performs.

You can also find the tool listed in the Systems and Resources menus (in the blue menu bar), and it is shown on the Systems page and on the Sitemap.
Also, if you like the tool, please give the +1 and Like buttons a click, right next to the Generate Combinations button.
