She wasn't left out Pepper . She has olny made 4055 posts . Most of the top 25 posters have 1200 and to 51000 posts (51 being Todd ) .
Doesn't mean the top 25 has helped alot of people . Just means they ( we ) have posted alot of numbers , comments , etc. Those that are in the Elite Status are the ones that do most helping and post "quality " posts that do help others . Perhaps she will make that list one day . Right now her status is the same as yours , advanced. Good luck to both of you

I can only assume because his posts resembled spam he was ask not to post the same thing over and over again. And since they seemed incapable of joining any discussion, they probably just stopped posting.
"they ran out of things to say and they didn't join just to congratulate other players on their wins."
Had I echoed congratulations to unknown winners, Happy Birthdays, or posted a "I'll look into that" in the System Forum every time I logged into LP, I would now be a top 100 poster and if I posted lots of "you were really close" in the pick-3 and pick-4 forums, I'd probably be close to the top 25 without ever adding anything to any discussion.
I'm not saying congrats and birthday greetings aren't an important part of LP, but if that's all members had to offer, this would quickly become a boring place.
So what do you suggest that LP members do? Send those messages privately? What's protocol here? I haven't had the time or inclination to look for it. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can speak for myself; when I've wished people "Happy Birthday" and said "Thank You" to all of the folks, especially those who I KNOW spend hours providing useful information, my messages are sincere. I could care less what my post count is. Todd could reset it to zero for all I care.
I guess I'm not sure what your point is. If you think there are folks on LP who send frivolous messages, maybe you should post a list of those members so that they know that you feel that way about it. You may also want to outline specifically what messages you've decided are worthy of being posted and what the criteria is for them, since you and some others seem to believe that you know what's valuable and what isn't.

Didn't mean to start a war here . Was just wondering who the top 25 were and posted it in case others have been wondering . Happy Birthdays and thank you messages are important . I don't know about the rest of the members but if i'm around on my birthday , I can't wait to see if anyone sent birthday wishes here. yes I do get many birthday wishes elsewhere but it's also nice to see it here on LP .
I do know that most all of the top 25 do spend hours each day posting their thoughts and they should be noticed for that .
Maybe looking at the posts the top 25 on here are writing will help someone . I know many that post on the pick 3 forums twice daily have listed winning numbers in hopes that someone out there seen a winner and won on it. It's a great feeling when someone you don't know sends a message to you that says " Thank You " I won xxxx .

Insinuations aren't constructive.
"I guess I'm not sure what your point is."
I thought my point was clear when I said, "I'm not saying congrats and birthday greetings aren't an important part of LP, but if that's all members had to offer, this would quickly become a boring place". And my opinion was clear when I said, "Some of the top 25 have the same less status (Senior Veteran) as me and while I'm sure they all contribute, personally I believe those holding an Elite status and not in the top 25 deserve as much credit, if not more".
"If you think there are folks on LP who send frivolous messages, maybe you should post a list of those members so that they know that you feel that way about it."
If you look in the Discussion Forum, you'll see a thread was closed today and it certainly wasn't my call or my opinion that closed it. Look at the explanation of why it was closed and you'll clearly see why I believe member status is more important than the number of posts.
"You may also want to outline specifically what messages you've decided are worthy of being posted and what the criteria is for them, since you and some others seem to believe that you know what's valuable and what isn't."
Don't have the actual statistic and an obvious waste of time finding it, but judging by the number of threads in the last two weeks that have between zero and fives replies, pretty much proves most LP members know the difference.
"Insinuations aren't constructive."
It's obvious you don't agree with my opinions, but had I posted another 11,000 opinions and made the top 25, you would have thanked me for my "tireless sharing and help"; especially since you thanked a top 25 poster that hasn't posted or even logged on in over 5 years.

I'll agree to disagree on your opinion the quantity of posts outweighs the quality of posts.
As for birthday greetings and a thank you, as I just reminded karinda, I already said in this topic "I'm not saying congrats and birthday greetings aren't an important part of LP, but if that's all members had to offer, this would quickly become a boring place".

Didnt say quantity outweighs quality Stack . More like the other way around :
Doesn't mean the top 25 has helped a lot of people . Just means they ( we ) have posted a lot of numbers , comments , etc. Those that are in the Elite Status are the ones that do most helping and post "quality " posts that do help others .

What did you expect with this type of thread? It's one thing to be curious about the Top 25 and View the List: It's another to Copy & Paste the List into the Forums!

Maybe posting that list was a thanks to those on that list Raven. Wouldn't have posted it if I knew this would be the responses. I think I'll just stick to posting numbers and forget discussion pages .

I was wondering who the top 25 were here so I think this is the list taken from members pages . Congrats to all for the hard work and a special thanks to Todd and Lucky !!
Thank you Blackie for the acknowledgement and I hope that the majority of my posts are considered qualitative & helpful. There are those who don't have a lot of posts, but what they have posted has been HIGHLY helpful in the past and will be in the future. 99% of us on here are posting to try to help 100% of get some of that money, not just donate.

Most of the top 25 posters have Elite or Guru status and probably the members you were referring to. By commenting that quality post aren't necessary to reached the top 25, I may have offended one or two of the top 25 but that wasn't my intention. When you posted the list, I saw one name that I knew for a fact hadn't posted or even logged into LP in over 5 years and I thought about another member whose intention were to become a top 25 poster by posting thousands of frivolous, redundant, and one or two word messages.
The point I was trying to make, it's possible for anyone to become a top 25 poster in a relatively short period of time without really adding anything. While someone who hasn't posted in years may have been a great help to others in the past, those posts won't be seen by the majority of new members.
I don't believe it's a fair measure to compare quanity of posts to members with less posts who have spent years and are continuing to help others with ideas, strategies, and helpful information about lottery games.
