If one of the games were to get very large, I would expect it to be Powerball.

With their price doubling after the new year, it might seem like a 2 for 1 sale for a lot of people who say they won't play it again after the price increase.

The odds of winning $2 PB (1 in 175 million) will be the same as $1 MM so it will be interesting to see if PB players switch to MM in the states that offer both games.

anyway, i think MM can pull it off

also to person voting 400m, er, powerbal has a CAP. to game changes next year, that jackpot cap will kick in , locking it at 390, even if sells support 400+ size

lucky, where getting rid of stupid idea that is jackpot cap next year

i also voted for 200m, as i can see both mm and pb hitting near 200m, or 100m cash mini before end of year.

thro any thing above that is welcome but does not happen often.

also notice, cash jackpot a lot bigger compared to Annuity marketed amount, due to govt t bills rates being at all time lows.

so to get a high 300m jackpot, you need a lot more cash, aka real tickets.

200m can sure happen, but todays 200m jackpots is like the old 300m Annuity jackpots 5 years ago, when comparing cash offer

hell back then, the current 53,900,000 would be worth:

Sep. 21, 2005, jackpot of annuity of 108m with $53,100,000 cash, , compared to our currenty 53.9m cash as only 86m rofl

how t bills rates have fallen.

so just be aware of cash jackpots "the real jackpot" so 100m cash diff can happen this year on both pb and mm, , 150m |+ etc thro, we need santa clase luck, it could happen thro.

also if we dont make it this year, pb could indeed have record breaking jackpots next year thro, its going to be fun time to play"even if cost us double"

as pb people said they are thinking 200+ million jackpots will be the new average come the change over.

also with 2nd place prize going to 1m for 2 bucks, the old powerplay types, will just skip the 3buck ticket, and go with normal 1 ticket

i dont really see this effecting sells, it speeds up jackpot growing, so when it hits "buy levels" aka 100m, 200m, same number of people will sure play

i just see a lot less playerplays and more normal 2 buck tickets,

Well, we are getting into rarified air with the 13th roll of Powerball. I wanted to see the Jackpot get to the $300,000,000 area before the end of the year. Its one roll away!
