Because it's very early in the month, I've decided to try a new strategy. As of March 6th, there are 19 of the 39 T5 numbers that have yet to be drawn. (1,3,5,6,7,10,14,16,18,23,24,25,28,31,32,34,36,37 & 38 - all have zero hits in March) Last nite, #33 was the only number of the five winning numbers that had yet to be drawn in March.
Looking at past years on my spreadsheets, I've learned that any given number NOT being drawn in one calendar month doesn't happen very much. For instance during all of 2016, there were just eight times (0.2%) when a number had zero hits in one calendar month. There are 468 opportunities (12 months X 39 numbers) in one years time for a number to be drawn. Two numbers with zero hits in one month has happened, but that's pretty rare. I've never seen a month where three numbers had zero hits in one month.
So you can pretty much figure that in a majority of months all 39 T5 numbers will be drawn at least once. In February, #37 had no hits, and that's why it's the coldest number of 2017, but so far in 2017, that's the only time a number had zero hits this year.
So my new strategy is simply this: I'll play at least one number from that group of 19 numbers above on every line I play. At the end of this month (around the 24th) I'll look and see if any numbers still have zero hits in March, and I'll start playing those numbers until the 1st of April.
As of February 27th, #'s 22, 33 & 37 had zero hits in February. I knew that three numbers with zero hits in one calendar month just does not happen, so for the February 28th drawing, I played those three numbers on my lines. The February 28th drawing produced these winning T5 numbers -1 3 10 22 33. Too bad I didn't play 22 and 33 together on the same line for the drawing of February 28th. I could have very easily won money with two "free numbers" on my lines. I cant remember how many FP's I won that day, but I think it might have been four or five. G5
