What's the Take5 number group that has the most hits all time?
(Here comes one of those nice to know but totally useless T5 facts)
It's the tens with 9,703 balls drawn over the entire life of the game. The thirty's has 9,608, the twenty's has 9,590 and the units has 8,794. (But remember, the units has 9 numbers while the other three have 10.)
So a slight bias exists towards the tens number group over the entire life of Take5. But if you tried to select your numbers based on knowing that fact, you'd be crazier than I am. And I'm totally nuts. A complete scramblebrain.
So just why the hell did I want to know this? I dunno. Curiosity, I guess. G5

Actually, I do know why I wanted to know which Take5 number group had the most hits of all time.
This will sound crazy, but the reason is because now is the time of year that I start looking at the numbers and how they behaved during the year. The end of the year is in sight, and if you look, you can see a few things. Some are very interesting. Here's a good one;
This is a list of the top ten Take5 hitters of all time.
Number 6 - 1,048 hits
Number 17 - 1,024 hits
Number 10 - 1,006 hits
Number 31 - 997 hits
Number 18 - 996 hits
Number 22 - 991 hits
Number 7 - 990 hits
Number 34 - 988 hits
Number 15 - 987 hits
Number 35 - 984 hits
Four of the top ten hitters are in the tens number group. (40% of the top ten)
In 2017, Number 6 is the top hitter with 55 hits and it's the top hitter of all time. Number 17 has 50 hits, (#3 hitter of 2017) Number 31 has 48 hits (#5 hitter of 2017), Number 15 has 46 hits, (#7 hitter of 2017) and Number 35 has 47 hits (#6 hitter of 2017)
Do you think I need any more proof when I say numbers get hot and stay hot for extended periods of time? They tend to stay hot for longer periods of time than most people think anyway. Year in, year out, these top ten numbers show up more often than not. G5

I want to thank you for this (these) observations, G5. I've been on a dry spell since my July 4 4# hit. Because of what I read here I wheeled 16 numbers in 17 lines for a 3 if 5 win and had twelve (12) hits last night: 4 3# hits for $90 and 8 Free Plays. (I hit 4# in my mix.) Thanks for keeping us informed. And that goes for you as well CajunWin4!

Congat's and continued success Tique! Sounds like you made a very nice wheel.
It's good to know that somebody is reading the posts I've put out here, and even nicer to know somebody won a few bucks after reading them. G5

Tonite's the last opportunity for #35 to get to 12 hits in November. I doubt it will happen, but I played it on a few lines anyway. That 12 hits in one month's time is a very tough barrier. G5
