Thanks for your response Tique. Sometimes I feel like I'm posting but nobody is reading because I don't get any replies to some of what I've posted.
As for me personally, I don't do trend analysis using charts as I don't have a printer connected to my laptop. I just go by what the screens of data tell me. I do have a few Excel spreadsheets that I maintain though.
I don't plan to stop using my software anytime soon. It tells me things that I doubt anyone can possibly see or know without it. Many players say they're looking for "patterns". To my mind, it isn't so much "patterns" as it is how the numbers consistently behave - year in and year out - across many different states with 5/39 matrix games.
I see in many other states with 5/39 games the same behavior of the numbers that I see in Take5. For instance, I harp on "60 hits per year" for T5 (really it's more like 56 to 58 hits) but for instance, if you look at the numbers in Michigan's, or California's 5/39 games, you'll see the exact same behavior of the numbers. Although the number that's actually drawn will be different from state to state, you'll see that their top hitter for any given 365 day period has 57, 58 or 59 hits.
Pairs are another thing where you'll see identical behavior across multiple states with 5/39 games. The top pair for any state with a 5/39 game will hit 12 or 13 times in any given 365 day period. Right now, 14 - 15 is the top pair in NY's T5, but that's because that pair has been drawn FIVE times this month!! Something else I've noticed is that when an active pair is drawn, it will typically be drawn again during the same month. (As has hapened in March - but five times is a ton of times. It's usually two or three times. So if you see a top pair come out - play it again soon and keep playing it until you see it again. You might be glad you did it. G5
