I already responded but I wanted to be sure I'm clear on what you're asking. We won the jackpot correct? And you're asking what would be the first small treat under 1k?

Either way is correct....the first small treat under $1000 (for a big JP win) or what you would do with small win overall. I left it open to interpretation.

I pay with a card and make sure to get a receipt. Also, the bewildered, then gleeful look on the driver's face in my rearview mirror as the cashier tells them that their drink is paid for usually confirms it

I wondered the same thing.  My Starbucks takes 20 minutes to make any drink when 2 people are in the store.  So I bought a Mr. Coffee frappe machine and can make my own now.  Really good.

God help them if they every got a drive through. Traffic would be backed up to the west coast.

Sometimes when I'm in an extra good mood in the Starbucks drive-thru I'll pay for the drink(s) of the car behind me. I'd like to do that for a whole line of cars one day

I'd buy drinks for wimmins at the bar when I was a young buck.

Sometimes it'd work out real good.

Reminds me of a song (for some reason):

      Well I'm just a bartender

And I don't like my work

But I don't mind the money at all

I've seen lots of sad faces

      And lots of bad cases

Of folks with their backs to the wall

But I need four walls around me, to hold my life

To keep me from going astray

And a honky tonk angel, to hold me tight

To keep me from slippin' away

Now the smoke fills the air

      In this honky tonk bar

And I'm thinkin' bout where I'd rather be

But I burned all my bridges

And I sunk all my ships

And I'm stranded at the edge of the sea

I need four walls around me, to hold my life

To keep me from goin' astray

And a honky tonk angel, to hold me tight

To keep me from slippin' away.

        wimmins reminds me of simmons....

So I would also spend some money buying Richard Simmons an appropriate pair of shorts.  Long ones. And buy him a good haircut.

I would buy prescription sunglasses and then get a nice pair of nikes shoes for walking.  Then I would go to the big and tall store and get all new clothes for summer.  I would do it for every season new clothes because I could afford it.   I have always wanted to ride in a leer jet so I would take my mother on a leer jet ride some where nice.  That is it for now!-weshar75
