      Thanks for noticing x,

It clearly could take some time to hit the JP and that's why I wanted this to be a permanent pool. Now that we have disbanded after one draw I suppose its "back to the drawing board" for me.

I do think playing the same lines on a permanent basis has some merit. I paid a visit to the "One In 1000"  blog last night and it sounds like he is using an RNG to pick new lines before each draw. I originally said he would hit the JP (which he says he is not interested in doing) within 9.6 years, but I am changing that prediction to

      NEVER.

Yea Ronnie it could take a little while so  try not to Rush it

There is a little merit in a pool though,  Mabey next time you and somebody could say something like:

             You pick 8 numbers

              I'll pick 8 numbers

we'll wheel them       and both play the same 15 plays

That kind of pool,  you both win the same  (like all 5 white balls)

          Good idea,

When you say "15 plays" are you saying 15 lines and would it be 15 lines on each game? Because we only played 5 lines on each game and it was going to be $150 every 5 weeks for each person.

              15 lines for one Draw

Like,... you would spend  $15 bucks for Friday's Mega-Million

I like this idea, but in order to avoid having the numbers hit on the the opposite game the lines have to be played on both games. 2 people could just buy opposite tickets but now that the price is changed PB would be $300. for 10 draws and MM would be $150. for 10 draws.

Ah.... wait. Did I say, Does anyone want to be in a pool with me? lol. YES I DID.

I recently posted that I was spending $450. per month on PB and MM. Ah.... but wait.

I changed my mind. I only want to play 1 MM card and 1 PB card for a total of $150. per month.

                  But here's the conundrum.

I don't have the same numbers on both cards and what if I hit on the WRONG GAME!!!!

Yeah, exactly. So if anyone here wants to play the same numbers (guaranteed to eventually win) on the opposite games we can join in the winners circle and split any 1st or 2nd prize winners.

Ok, the price of being in my pool has gone up. lol. I'm playing one line of 5 intuitively chosen numbers and playing it with all 35 powerballs for a total of $70. per draw.

The same lines could be played on MM for $35. but it would leave out mega balls 36-46.

                    Any takers or ideas?

Go ahead and eliminate these Power-Balls (Red) for Sat.

                                3

                                11

                                21

                                32

                                33

                                35

And eliminate these for the Mega-Ball Fri (yellow)

                              16

                              40

                              42

                              45

It's not much but now you'll save a "few"  dollars.

Sounds like they covered themselves pretty well by requiring the other to show he brought the losing tickets for the same drawings before sharing the winnings.

As far as someone stealing those numbers, I doubt it because there's too much repetition.  If one line has a 5+1 match then the other lines could match 5+0, 4+1 and 4+0 in four cases and at least a 3+1 or better in four of the remaining 5 lines which tells me they could have gotten almost as good of coverage with less lines or covered more with the same amount of lines.

                          I wish them good luck.

I wish them luck too..   I think it would be a great story.  I am just hoping one doesn't let the other one down...
