I saw a hedge fund guy interviewed on a business channel and he admitted that the stock market is now dominated by people like him who use it to gamble more than actually place a value on stocks. He also admitted that using complicated math based on probabilities and statistics, that their strategy does not assure 100% win ratio but something less than that. Their strategy actually makes them win more than they lose and they make tons of money out of it.
Soon, states everywhere will allow online gaming, the lottery included. When this comes to pass, I believe that these math wizs that are now playing on the stock market will expand their operations to include online gaming. While the lottery is totally random, I myself have found that there are ways to narrow your selection that will dramatically increase your percentage chance in picking the winning combo. And this focus is the only thing the guys with the big bucks and plenty of computing power needs.
What do you think ?
