Is it a sign? Is the Texas Pick 3 trying to tell us something?

While we all know that a triple in a Pick 3 only occurs rarely, how incredible are the odds that 666 hits on the day drawing of July 4th and then 666 hits again on the night of July 5th?   Could it be a sign????    Evil Smile

And how much you wanna bet that the oganizations that were trying to get rid of the lottery in Texas on the grounds that poor people are not smart enough to know better are going to jump all over this....

Let's see if this makes news in the next day or so....

I bet one thing is for certain, that set of balls (and possibly the machine) just got tossed out of the rotation.  That's bound to generate some phone calls in Austin tomorrow.  How would you like to be the receptionist answering the phone ?  Shocked

            brittkimsdad,

Play 1318 in the Pick 4 for a few days.

            Rev 13:18

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.

            PS,

In China the trip sixes are considered lucky.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

It's not as rare as you think. Triples have happened 14 times in the last 30 days.   Thud

The numbers will tell you what numbers to play. Pay attention to the numbers.

Just looked at the sales summary report for P3 night draw for July 5th.

TLC had net sales of $505,105. There were 6176 winning striaght tickets. After factoring in "sum it up" sales and payouts, the TLC lost $1,044,854.

So, there were quite a few people who played 666, and TLC lost a million bucks in the process.

                        OMG!  Thud

Well hats off to the 6,176 folks that were a heck of alot smarter than I was.  That's just amazing!

Looking at the report now.  I don't remember the last time the house lost that much on any of the games.  I check the sales reports often on all the games ....  Not to say that in the long run they aren't making a killing, but still .... that's got to be one of the worse nights they've had in awhile.

This reminds me of Christmas day in 1999 when all the "lucky" 666 players won in Texas.

Coincidence? or "Do some number combinations have better odds?"
