Hi,

Well here’s a lottery system for you. I’ll put up 1000 threads, one each for every pick 3 number. I’ll guarantee a winner in every state. I’ll tell you about the years of experience I’ve had in analyzing lottery numbers, that people are making a lot of money using one of my many systems. Hey I won’t even post to the prediction board. It is a winning system after all. And the best part, I won’t even have to prove my credentials, supply real testimonials (maybe some of my LP cronies will jump in to help), or even use a dime of my money.

It sound pretty ridicules doesn’t it. I would be discredited for being a quack and lots of people who come here looking for a better way would be out of a lot of their hard earned money. In the mean time, the regular LP members would have to look at a full board of hogwash every day.

Why do this? Maybe it’s an ego trip. Or maybe some of the lotteries are feeling that their multi-billion dollar industry is being threatened. Why not flood the site with a bunch of bogus systems to discredit it, or distract people from what are potentially winning systems.

Don’t misunderstand me, I like to LP. But isn’t there some way to improve the quality and protection for its members.

I don’t know, maybe people prefer the wild west approach and let the buyer beware.

Any on-topic comments or suggestions for possible improvements are welcomed.

You are making acusations that mysterious poeple " flood the site with a bunch of bogus systems"

That whole premise sounds WACKED.

Obviously you don't enjoy systems as much as the rest of us do. This is a hobby for most people so why rain on their parades? There's absolutely nothing wrong with throwing around ideas...even if it's a terrible idea we can learn from it. Posting years of research and data is...how can I say it...B-O-R-I-N-G. And it probably wouldn't mean anything except to the person who created the "system". People want something easy and fast that creates winners. Doesn't really work that way most times but we sure as heck can keep trying. What is life without a little excitement and challenge?

Coming from me...one of the quacks..... you bet your bippy I enjoy getting people thinking about how they choose their numbers. If quick picks haven't been working for you then, naturally, we turn to alternative methods.Of course I don't expect everyone to run out and buy every number from a system...God forbid. The biggest message being sent by people who share systems is that there is life after quick picks and thank goodness we have so many generous folks on here that give me a CHOICE and New Ideas to work with :)

Lottery Players...keep stretching your mind...it's a wonderful thing :)

Yeah, maybe Todd can appoint someone here to be the quality control inspector. Anyone wanting to post their systems will have to first submit their system to this person via PM, and only after the system is sent through the wringer in every state for at least a 5 year backtest and shows a substantial net profit, then approved by a council on domestic affairs by another board of directors appointed by Todd for final approval.

And for the poor souls who's systems didn't live up to the high standards, will be banned from LP for two weeks. So choose what system you want to post wisely. And lastly, if you continue to fail inspection after 3 times, your account will go back to Standard for two months. After 10 consecutive systems that fail, you'll have to pay 50 bucks to the LP site fund. The fund will help pay for psychiatric evaluation assistance program for those in need due to lack of good ideas for a system.

No accusations, it is simply my hypothetical system that highlights the potential for abuse and misrepresentation.

Obviously you don’t know me, I love all the different systems in all their stages of development.

I’ll usually see how they are compatible with what I’m doing.

I like to see info about the system like..

I’ve tried and had pretty good luck with it.

I’ve back tested it and think it has potential, but haven’t tried it myself.

Has anyone looked at doing it this way?

Anything, where the presenter is taking enough ownership to do it themselves and not using other members dollars as the testing ground for to see how well the system works.

And lastly, how are they doing on their predictions. And if they’re aren’t posting, why (there are a few good reasons, like the game be pari-mutuel).

Maybe some of the other members can give their criteria for what to watch out for. It would be very helpful to the newer members.

What if there is something better but they want to keep it to themselves?

That's what the system forum does, it provides a medium for people to sift through and find the methods best for them.

I don't understand how he wants to improve on what's happening now. Who is going to define how good a system is and who will decide whether it should be posted?

As far as I know, there is no system that will hit on a regular basis. Having said that, my mission is to find one that does with the pick-3, and If and when I do, you'll see it here in the system forum.

It's not personal attacks, it's to show the hypocrisy.

So let me ask you, what do you have in mind? Should everyone who post systems work overtime to come up with a better one? I really don't get it. What is your solution? What specifically do you want to do to improve the quality of systems? You know for a fact that the odds are against the system maker, so I don't understand how you expect people to all of a sudden pull a miracle out of their hat.

Trying to beat a game like the pick-3, when you get paid half of what the odds are is no easy task, like a straight hit.

You say this thread was posted to try something new. Ok, you go first. What's the best way to beat the pick-3? How about P-4, Pick-5, JP games?

It's easy to make generalized statements. Let's hear some detailed solutions.

While your remarks weren't directed at any particular member, some of those who posted their systems took them personal. While their systems may no be winners, they represent their best effort to try and win a lottery and your remarks is the "thanks" they get for sharing it. They do this for entertainment, it's not what they do for a living.
