      Cheat codes?

I believe RJOH eloquently remarked on this subject a week or so ago in a similar setting, in another thread. He clearly demonstrated why the wins were greater. The population is considerably higher, thus more wins.

Thanks onlymoney for again explaining that very elementary fact for those that keep forgetting it. The idea that there are cheat codes floating around is so ridiculous, I have to figuire the person who posted that was joking.

No, not joking. There really are people out there who truly believe such things. I always wonder why they bother playing the lottery if they are so suspicious, and they really believe the states or people or both are cheating. It's quite laughable. No common sense. LOL.

Its a mystery how people believe strange complicated things, and at the same time deny simple truths.

Consider the smog and congestion a necessary by product of lottery heaven.  Blue Angel

Much like you need to relieve yourself from time to time.

It took billions of years for lottery heaven to evolve, lets not spoil their delicate ecosystem with such petty grievances.

I would love to live in CA, if they could just hurry up and finish going broke so about 3/4 of the people move out I will be happy to move in immediately. Something on the beach near Catalina I think.... What?

Apparently Idahoans have some decent cheat codes too.

From a recent press release from the Idaho Lottery:

BOISE, Idaho – Powerball luck has found Idaho once again. For the fifth time in 13 weeks Idaho has a $1 million or higher winning Powerball ticket. The Idaho lottery has confirmed that one ticket from last night’s Powerball draw matched all five of the first numbers (but not the Powerball) and is worth $1 million. The winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Caldwell. The winning numbers were: 01, 05, 08, 39, 50 and the Powerball number was 23. "This summer has been great for big wins in Idaho. Our lucky streak continued last night with another million dollar Powerball prize," said Jeff Anderson Idaho Lottery Director.

"Per capita, for multi-state game wins over $500,000, Idaho is the luckiest jurisdiction in North America right now. We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball last night to check their tickets carefully for winners. We have instances where players do not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. This ticket matched all five of the first numbers but not the Powerball and is worth $1 million."
