No million dollar winners last night. Hmmm....

Do you think people are getting bored with so called big jackpots? Does it take record levels to start the buzz? Maybe we're pinching pennies for the Black Friday Sales.

I don't know, but I wish I had a chance to win.  I live in Cali and we don't have the powerball, but if we did I would play.  All our lives we strive for financial independence, or at least most of us do, so if someone should win I feel that it would help there situation out. Lol

No big deal really. At $2. a line and 5 million to 1 odds for 2nd prize, not that many people care.

I'm sure if Californians had PowerBall, someone from your state would be winning it as often as you all win MegaMillions.  California has a lot of lottery players and I'm surprised more of you aren't traveling out of state to win PB too.

Ohio has them both and I'm sure with MM just being won, the attention has shifted to PB.  Ohioans were traveling out of state and winning PB long before it came to Ohio.  The price increase slowed us down but we didn't quit playing.

I played 5 lines last night and matched 0+1 for $4 so I'm already picking 10 lines for Saturday's drawing.

When they implemented their $2.00 a line Austerity measures, we stopped playing.

              This is great news!

California can now corner the entire jackpot market of multi-state lotteries.  Banana

              Well deserved, way overdue!

I don't think they'tre getting bored so to speak...but it does seem that the estimated values aren't growing like they used to...Me personally don't care whether it a million or 100 million...LOL I just want to hit it one good time!!

If California does for PoweBall what it's doing for MegaMillions, it will not only win its share of its jackpots but add up to 8,000,000 more ticket sales per drawing, who's going to complain about that?

I agree Ronnie.  Not only dont people care, but they know when they are being Dupe AlertDont Play the New $2 PowerBall.

Players Need to Boycott this game so that MUSL gets a serious message.

The above link explains the changes and breaks down the odds in a very concise fashion as to why players should boycott PB and why the change is a scam.

I have not played the game.  My starting entry is 1/2 billion dollars, which will never happen.  MM already has the record setting jackpot, and that game only costs $1.

                            Greed is not necessarily good.

I understand your points Boner, but I also believe in having choices for players who decide to continue to play the PB as I do.

The jackpot would obviously be the miracle all players welcome, but I'm also gunning for the second prize of a cool $1 million.

That amount would be life changing for me. I will also continue to play MM's, as well as all my states games.

I seriously doubt there will ever be a boycott of Powerball, to reduce the ticket price to $1. This is just a sign of the changing times and

evolution of our lottery games. Many states including mine, already have additional $2 games in place. This trend is inevitable.

Good luck in your quest however! Lep
