I for one would like scratcher rolls to have a guaranteed minimum % payout ! It's time Florida Lottery puts up a lower tier prize grid ! So we know what's out there . Just talked to a player in Texas - you should see the great lower tier prize grid they have. Why not Florida ?? Why should we have to buy in the dark - hoping to win $10K when there isn't any left !! We are getting ripped off !

wins: $10,000 Jubilee - $5,000 $200MS - 32 $1k's - 185 $500's - 5 $400's

I wasn’t good at math or statistics – but check this out and see if I‘m close.

Florida Lottery website “Nov 1, 2012 – Fl Lottery announces over $90M of revenue since sales began on Sept 25th of the new $25 Millionaire scratch off ticket …”

Humm …let’s see … $90M divided by 37 days comes out to $2.4M revenue per day. That buys around 960,000 tickets a day – odds for $1M win - 1 in 687,772 . There have been four $1M wins in that 37 day period . Why not more $1M wins ? Especially if you can buy 272,228 MORE tickets a day over the odds of 687,772. Because it roughly takes $1,719 M to buy 687,772 TIX ….Even if the daily $$ intake was off a day or two – you still have way more daily buys over the odds to win $1M ……. So, are the published odds phony - should be much higher ? What’s your take ?

      wins: $10,000 Jubilee - $5,000 $200MS - 32 $1k's - 185 $500's - 5 $400's

Our lottery doesnt even have a grid. You have to call and ask questions about each ticket. However since we are in the smallest state, there are not that many games here or top prizes. You would definitely win a jackpot here if you played with the number of tickets you buy. The game I play for example, Lucky Times 20, is a 20 dollar ticket with 52 top prizes of 20k. They only printed 306,000 tickets. There were 52 top prizes, and 10 prizes of 1000. About 200 or so 500 dollar tickets and the rest were 200,100,50,25,20.

They have sold about 25 percent so far in about 8 months. They move very slowly. So far, there are still 43 prizes left of 20,000. Since they only printed 300,000 or so, you have like a 1 in 6000 chance of hitting it. The bad thing is the odds are terrible and the payouts are just as bad. In each book of 30, there is usually 7 or 8 winners with the biggest being either 200 or 100. The books usually pay back around 250-350. So to me, not worth the risk anymore because the odds are horrendous. 1:3.89. You usually get a winner of 25, then go 4 tickets of duds, then another winner of either 20,25. Once in a while, they will throw in a 50 or 100 or 200. I have never ever seen a back to back ticket winner either so its very predictable.
