Ridge believes that buying more lottery tickets increases his chances of winning. I like his strategy, I am too old to wait. I want to win now. Lol

I don't know how much truth there is to this, but many of my friends will purchase lottery tickets one ticket at a time....they seem to think they get better numbers that way, so if they ever DO win would appear they only purchased a single ticket, but in reality, they'd purchased multiple.

Most of my wins were on a random single tic. Got 3+1 once.

Are you saying that it makes economic sense to buy only a single line? Lol

Except I thought you believed that buying more lottery tickets increases your chances of developing a gambling addiction.

Oh, wait, I see... YOUR chances of developing a gambling addiction are through the roof because you're the type of person that gets addicted easily.  Hey, nothing wrong with that, everybody's got their own personal demons.  However, hanging out on a lottery forum is not the best way to deal with your gambling addiction.  It would be like an alcoholic spending all of his time on a beer and wine forum.  I see where you were going with it, though; some people believe that surrounding yourself with temptation is the best way to develop the strength to resist it.  Your "I will buy a lottery ticket someday" mantra was your way of managing your addiction, very similar to a method used by many people trying to quit smoking.

Good luck to you, Thrifty.  I hope you're able to break yourself of your gambling addiction.

Yes Thrifty..... Spare yourself the temptation and hang out in a sports bar and drink. You may well enjoy one that has off track betting so you can try your hand at the ponies and perhaps the dogs too.......

                      I only buy two, THRIFTY.

Just to keep a foot in the door.

To me, there ain't a hell of a lotta difference between having 2 chances in 175 million or 20 or 200, it's still a shot in the dark, leastways I can tell.

I just make sure I'm on the field for every game for when Lady Luck comes lookin' for me in the secondary and hits me right in the numbers with the Hail Mary.

We may not agree on much, Ridge, but I'm with you on this one.  You can't win if you're not in the game, but there's no need to go overboard either.

It's always wise and good policy to go along with me, mediabrat.

                            I'm never wrong.

There was an instance one time that I thought I was wrong.

                            But I was mistaken.
