Lets face it. The reason the states calls it "overall odds" is because they know that intangible forces play a big role in the ACTUAL ODDS that a person will experience in the real life situation of playing the lottery. RIGHT?

If I pick the bonus number correctly every 37.5 draws, have I cut the "overall odds" in half??

The lotteries publish the overall odds because someone complained their advertising was misleading. "It only takes one ticket to win" and "someone will win lot of money and it might be you". Those catch phrases are true but don't reflect how many players must lose so someone can win lots of money. The reality is a player will match three numbers, beat the odds per play of 306 to 1 and win six bucks.

Ronnie, you're a sharp guy with numbers...and should know the answer to this question. If not, then I'm happy to help buddy. No, you haven't cut the odds in half with only a single number... even if you match it on every draw, we're still dealing with permutations in the end. That bonus number still has to correlate with at least (2) additional numbers, CONSISTENTLY, to effectively produce those odds. Why? Well, in lamens terms, you're half way there so to speak...'cause there are (6) numbers to match. To me, the game simply revolves around matching all (6) digits to win...just like any other game. The closer you can get to matching "X" amount of numbers each draw, the better your odds become.

But, with so many numbers involved, it's very, very expensive to even begin ensuring a certain amount of matches...which you have proven, SIR. It can be done at a COST. Overall Odds seem to be those "janky" numbers thrown out there based on a player simply using QP's, or, just shading in something real fast to "be in". That's cool, and, QP's have been the biggest winners...a known fact. Sentimental Self Picks have also won (lady in Virginia a while back). But, a player that truly understands how to combine their numbers, along with spending that corresponding amount, will always have the best chances (guarantee) of matching a specific amount of digits everytime on a single line. Hey, this sounds like YOU!!! Player Odds, in my opinion, vary and are dependent upon mathematical competency and the money required.

Permutation never lies...but it does COST. With that cost comes surety of results. Hope I helped.

Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....

There are seven days in the week...'Someday' isn't one of them.
