They should raise the MEGA MILLIONS and POWERBALL to $5 per line with a $100M starting jackpot played daily.

    Would you still play?

Poor people should have to pay double for any lottery tickets they buy.

Cuz it's not really their money they're using, it's ours.

And 90% of any winnings they get should go back into the general fund to help cover food stamps, welfare checks, Section 8 and all the other freebies.

And I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help out their fellow poor people that way.

          Prejudiced?

          How do you figure?

          They're rich people now!

You know, the evil rich people we keep hearing about.

The ones we're supposed to hate.

Shouldn't they be willing to "give back to the community"?

It'll go for food stamps and such, that's a good thing, right?

Why are you taking the side of the rich people against the poor people?

The government should take that money and redistribute it, right?

Like the man said to Joe the Plumber: "We need to spread the wealth around."

That's a good thing to take rich people's money and give it to people who won't work, right?

Or have you changed your mind on that now?

That's fine but you should have a little more compassion for the poor.

The rich don't need all that money.

The poor need to eat too.

                Think of the kids.

                Don't be greedy.

I say no, but I would probably end up playing the same numbers I do now.. its the guilty gambling feeling of "if I don't play them, my set will hit" type thing.. and I don't want to know that, feeling!!!! However.. I quit smoking and I don't drink so the lottery is my bad habit to spend $$$ on

                  I wish I may, I wish I might...
Win the Powerball jackpot THIS big night!!!

Thank God there are still people like you and your family around, dallas.

Sometimes it seems like the whole dam* country is on the take.

There are a lot of people who honestly believe that the government is here to provide for them.

                        And they're destroying our country.

If I won BIG money, I already am aware of the taxes I'd have to pay in advance. The one that that bothers me about paying taxes is they way MY money is being distributed. I'm not turning this into a political post, but I am sooooo tired of working my behind off and my tax money being spent foolishly, especially when it involves entitlements to those who are taking advantage of the system. I can't tell you how ticked off I get when I can't afford to play the lottery at times, and I'm standing behind people in a store who are paying for food items with EBT cards and turn around and pay 50.00 cash for lottery tickets....

sorry for being a Negative Nancy this morning. =(
