Why would you end a question with a period instead of a question mark as if it was a declarative sentence?

And why would you not insert a comma after the word "that"?

The way you've structured your sentence without the comma and overlooking the missing question mark, my response should be: What man?

Thank God there are still people like you and your family around, dallas.

Sometimes it seems like the whole dam* country is on the take.

There are a lot of people who honestly believe that the government is here to provide for them.

                And they're destroying our country.

Sorry about my generation.  (I realize it isn't my generation that caused this insane debt, but I know we won't solve it.  Almost everyone whose politically active and young just wants free stuff.  There are exceptions.... but let's be real.  I was basically yelled at by one of those "get out the vote" people because I wouldn't vote for Obama who would "help us with our college loans."  None of these kids could imagine working to pay their way through college rather than putting on a government sponsered loan.  They actually want a BAILOUT of college loans.  That's nuts.)

The more I talk to people my age about politics the more I'm concerned that we're going to have to watch this country fall apart and maybe our kids (As in the kids who aren't born yet) will fix the mess that socialists are causing now.  These same people who complain about the fact that minimum wage isn't a living wage and that the rich are cheating us are those same people who've never put in a real day of work.  And I don't mean 8 hours, I mean that they actually worked hard while they had a job.

And then they wonder why they're "rich snobby" boss fired them and blaimed them for being "unfair" to the working man.  I always point out that I've never been fired from a job because I actually..... well..... do a good job.  Or at least work at fixing my flaws instead of being a lazy complainer about my boss asking me to work for my money.

And I don't care what anyone has to say.  Pretty much every lazy "worker" who makes minimum wage and can't seem to move out is a Liberal.  And they are that way because they think they DESERVE things they don't earn.

                It's just sad.

Luckily there's still some people who understand that freedom is the ability to pursue your own happiness without forcing other people to pay for the things you want.  We're the ones who do well in a capitalist system.  I'm just scared that all the hard working people will have their livelihoods taken from them to fund these lazy nutjobs who think the government can pay for everything under the sun. It's almost like Atlus Shrugged is becoming reality.

Boney, your generation had the liberal indoctrination through the Union lead school system, starting in pre-school with liberal cartoons and books, then onto hollywoods protrayal of warped history, almost every sitcom on tv is a liberal feast of indoctrination. The reality tv shows are  a false hope of instant rich, fortune and fame, and a warped sense of how average Americans live, They prey on jealousy, self centered wants and needs.

My favorite tv show, which shall remain nameless, protrays the bad evil brother as a republican who is a drug addled bigot.

There are no more role models, John Wayne is long gone.

Our sports heros are wife beating, drunk driving, dog fighting, gambling problem, steroid cheating, losers, and Americans worship them.

People will spend huge amounts of money on status symbol materialistic things, go broke doing it, all the while the name on the shoes, coat, purse, become the richest people in America, yet the masses who hate the wealthy will continue to buy their products, we now have burger flippers who think they deserve 15 dollars an hour, so much for affordable fast food.

I fear the greed, lack of repsect, lack of personal responsibilty, lack of real education, are going to do us in.

Did you exchange a walk on part in the war ?

Boney, I feel your pain. You are correct the kids nowadays have no idea about work ethic. I worked my way through undergraduate school at a grocery store and I still have student loan debt I have to pay back. I made the choice to go to school and I don't expect NO ONE to help pay that debt back.

I told my boys if you do not get a scholarship for college then you will WORK while you are in school. That's what's wrong with the younger generation they do not want to work they want everything handed to them.

As I stated in a earlier post my boys are 14 & 15 and they just got cell phones. But I told them once they turn 16 they will be working for those phones. NOTHING IS FREE mom & dad work hard every day to provide a roof over their heads.

I remember when I was 17 years old and my father told me to NEVER DEPEND on anyone including him(because he wouldn't always be there RIP Dad) at the time I didn't understand what he meant but now I do. I told my boys the same thing do not DEPEND ON ANYONE if you want something YOU have to WORK for it.
