          Aug 2001, broke by 2007.

What state usually has the most unclaimed winning tickets?

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

          Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Wow.... I'm trying to search but I keep friggin getting sites/stories of 1 particular ticket such as "winning ticket worth $1million in Idaho goes unclaimed"

What we can be sure of though is it's not Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, Utah or Wyoming. Smash

                Anfang, dallascowboyfan,

I'm not really sure, just going by some recent threads.

Justxploring mentioned all the tourists in Florida so I think it mght be up there, but am not really sure which state would be the top.

Guess we'll call that one a push.

Maybe members can chime in on this one, are there any states that don't have Sunday drawings?

lOTTERIES go back to the 1700's in this country.  Communities would have a lottery to raise money for a bridge or a road, government used lotteries to pay for wars, building, etc...lotteries go back to ancient times.
