Your new name is Billybusybee, where do you come up with this stuff ?

I would run , jog, or crawl away as fast as I could.

I just think it up......it must be good it ALWAYS get a response from you.....Don't answer if you don't want or think it relevant to real life or your life.....It will not bother me if you never answer another question I ask...but I will keep asking just like yo will keep posting....So stop worrying about where it comes from and just answer the question.......or don't.....and move on.........GOD!!!

So let's say you won a jackpot.....whatever amount.....but at your job you've been there for 18 years....you can get your retirement in 2 yrs...Would you take your jackpot and continue to work those 2 yrs to get your full retirement....or would you just throw in the towel and quit??? I for one couldn't just quit...I EARNED that money and all I'd had to put up with over the years...I'll be darned if they won't give it to me...I would for one go ahead and burn up my vacation time instead of just cashing it in though........LOL...So would you stay or just go...

It depends on your co-workers because if you like your job then you could stay but your surroundings could make it difficult to stay.  Like hounding you for money from co-workers or people just changing at work and treating you differently.  That would make the last two years a pain in the butt to be their even if you love your job.  I think I would cash out all my retirement and add it to my lottery winnings and just retire and not deal with the co-workers and boss at the job.  Just me though!-weshar75

Stay, finish out the two years. That retirement money can add up to a large sum over the balance of your life. Like you said you worked for it.

At a low to moderate income level, those last 2 years will only add one or two hundred dollars per month or so to your social security retirement.  Which is a lot of money if you haven't won the lottery.  But if I have 10 mil in the bank, I'd rather have that extra 2 years to have fun rather than the extra $100 a month, so I'd quit.
