If someone has bad luck does that mean they will never have a chance to win the lottery?

Hi, I am the person who started this post. Thanks to those who have responded back. I know some of you think I'm just being a sore person or a whiner. In comparision to what some people have gone through in this world then I know I've  much to be grateful for. My luck is truly continuing to be on the downside though. Just last night I went to a place to get a takeout meal and it was the saltiest meal I've ever had, called the mgr. and had to complain. In my life I've had chronic illnesses since I was a teen and still have, along with having had a mastectomy due to breast cancer at age 37 (that's where my surgery left an awful scar) and have had more recurring kidney stone problems. Not to mention mental health issues but that's another story, lol.  I really am trying to look on the positive side but sometimes it does tend to be hard to do.  Winning the lottery would be a blessing (it would be nice not to have to work till I drop dead, especially when I'm feeling sick but still have to go to work).

Stay positive and things will turn around for you, shyguitar.

I hope you win, I really do.

    Hi rdgnr,

Thanks, hope you win someday as well.  I'm still happy for all the people that have won or will someday win a jackpot since a winner is then able to help family and friends and give to charities.  I'm hoping that my bad luck can someday still turn around and will try to stay positive even when having bad days.

Earn some karma. It has brought me some crazy wins. It can be helping people or animals. Everyone gets annoyed when you don't win but you still have to try. GL

My daughter is 20 and had had kidney stones, depression and we have history of cancer. I have gone gluten free. Check out the complications associated with gluten allergies. My sister and I have both been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder mine two years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. Hang in there something good will happen.

I agree.  I heard a religious broadcaster one morning on the car radio talk about how if you win the lottery, it will only magnify your qualities, good and bad So, he said, if you attended church before the win, you will probably continue to do so after the win.  If you did not, you will not start after your win.  If you were a bit of a jerk before the win, you will be ten times worse after the win. It was pretty interesting.

                              Hi virginia112211,

Sorry to hear about your daughter, sending good wishes to her and yourself for your health issues. I'm not sure being gluten free will be able to change my health conditions but will read up on it. Thanks for sharing.
