I meant as a way to keep an eye on those who invest my money.

The people who looked at the 11 million dollar house...they didnt buy it but another angle to look at is what's the upkeep on something like that...the light bill, pool maintenance, HOA fees, housekeeping....etc...etc....you can become a slave to a house very quick if you don't factor in certain expenses

NBC's Dateline tonight focuses on lottery winners.  Donald Trump is featured, giving winners advice.

Advice on how to make the money grow, or the hair?

Pretty interesting episode.. When I spend money.. I know where it goes.. how could she not know where 1 million dollars went? That was weird.. but I hope she uses the rest of the money wisely.. 3.5 seems like a lot but it can go fast if you spend it wrong.. The couple that want to invest in a house.. Good idea but in Florida? Where hurricanes happens a lot? They should try Las Vegas... I think the housing market is slowly coming back. And the last couple was sweet. I know they want to help but once you started saying yes.. it will become hard to say no... you can help people without giving away all your money..

The one who didn't know where her money went -- when they told her she bought cars and houses and whatever, she said of course!  So she did know where it went.  So why did she suspect fraud?  Very strange.  She definitely doesn't need to start a risky business with her grasp of finance, or lack of grasp that is.  I hope she figures it out before it's all gone.

Exactly.. she did knew where the money went. She went shopping, got cars, invested in a property that went bad. Why she would waste the forensics specialist time is beyond me.  I like her shoe idea though.. I love shoes but hate high heels and sometimes it's hard to find a hot shoe with a low heel...  but I don't think she has what it takes because first off it is a risky business. And not to down her. She don't seem savy enough to make it work.. I mean if she could not figure where 1 million of her money went then she aint to savy lol.... plus the money it would take to make it work would drain her out.. She should invest/buy in maybe a shoe boutique if she likes shoes so much... She can make it work but she has to get the knowledge first. taking classes is a good start...

I caught some of it, going back and forth between it and the Bible - people on this board can undestand that! And the Bible was followed by Vikings! Huh? Just making sure you can get to Valhalla?

I though the couple that Trump told were the opposite of most winners was interesting, they didn't want to spend any of it.

His advice towards charities made a lot of sense, give with your heart and your head.

Trump also said that evey lottery winner is bombarded with solicitations.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                            Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I couldn't get used to that guy they had as Moses.

After the Ten Commandments, nobody could be a better Moses than Charlton Heston as far as I was concerned.
